Hi!
If You use zoomifymap tutorial, so I guess You use Your own map. You have to set the setCenterZoom on location where Your map is (real Lan and Lon). Mine looks like this:
container.map.setCenterZoom(new Location(55.230000, 18.690000), 6);
When You set setCenterZoom to 0,0 ModestMaps shows the 0,0 location (next to Africa?) I suppose Your map isn't there. And then comes the error...

How could I set a background image for my tiles? I would like to have low-res full image as a background, so when I drag my view somewhere I won't see empty space, but this part of map in low-res. Just like zoomify.
I use AS2 and AbstractZoomifyMapProvider.

I've used Your PanTo() in my Navigation window. Works good, but when I PanTo(somewhere) my markers are moved to some strage location, when the PanTo stops, they get to their places. How can I updateMarkers on every frame in PanTo ?

Modest Maps Begginer's questionsI'm just starting my adventure with Modest Maps and I have some questions:
- where can I find Modest Maps Documentation/Reference?
- when I open my site, map shows only X instead of tiles, they show up only after i drag it a little. How to fix this?
- How to limit zoomOut?
- I found SampleClient1.as very useful, but is there any navigation window example for modest maps?
- how to properly set starting position and zoom? I would like to have my map at max zoom out, centerted.
I'm using my own tiles with a help of AbstractZoomifyMapProvider. AS2 user. I've also used the onResize to have my map 100%. -
