I love the layout of the latest rev of Twhirl, but for FriendFeed I see lots of redundant "no comments yet" and "no likes yet" lines repeating down the window and taking up space to reduce the number of events I can scan in one pageful.

I'd like it better if these were compacted up as side-by-side @ and [heart] buttons in the avatar / name / time bar for each event. Then, only show the in-context replies and likes when there's something to show.

Looks like the RSS feed is missing user names, for my account (lmorchard) at least. The links and GUIDs look like this for me:
