Twitter has been down for almost 2 months now. I really miss being able to add things to Sandy through IM.

Are we anywhere close to having a dedicated Sandy bot? Y'all can define close and decide if you want to let us know what that definition is.

If not, have you considered using ping.fm? I'm currently using it to update Twitter and Facebook status. It's in Beta right now, but they're not hiding the Beta sign up code at all.

Best of all, I can use AIM, GTalk, Yahoo!, Windows Live, iGoogle Gadget, or the Facebook, iPhone or Mobile apps to update from there.

It's something to look into.

The fact that these threads still get responses after al this time suggest to me that a lot of folks feel like I do: Stikkit had so much more promise than Sandy currently does. Sorry, not trying to be a troll, but that's how I feel.

Even if it was just manually defined terms for each of @firstsunday .... @fifthsaturday, that would be fantastic! Entering these dates manually is for the birds.

So here's the thing that Stikkit has that Sandy doesn't - a bookmarklet that lets you add new items. That would be good. Also, a bookmarklet/widget/whatever for seeing your outstanding Sandy items would be grand.

Seems like this thread has been abandoned so I'll just add a renewed plea for this essential feature. I see the original question was posted seven months ago, do any of you employee folks know if it's due to be added any time soon? Sandy would be much more useful if she could do this! Thanks

Still seems to be broken. I just tried responding to a keyword lookup with "lookup #1" (in the body of the email) and I just received the same exact email that i'd just responded to.

Rael, are you able to reproduce this issue? Are we using the "lookup #1" command incorrectly?

One thing I sometimes find confusing is when to put the command in the subject line and when in the body of the email. Can you perhaps talk us through how the commands should work to get the full context of an email that we've asked sandy to remember?

Actually, I find that (at least for me) Stikkit works better for storing some information - e.g. contacts.

Thanks. I know Sandy isn't losing or deleting things... but I don't trust that she's always showing me everything she should.

I looked carefully at one of my past to-dos (http://www.iwantsandy.com/688738). I was wrong about the To-Dos page - it does show up there. But where it doesn't show up is on the page you get to by clicking "Your Stuff" or "Any type". And that's the page I always use to manage my items. I can't see any way to include past to-dos on that page.

Hi Kate. First of all, don't worry — nothing's being lost: it's all about making sure that the various views are showing all they should. As far as your past to-dos are concerned, if they're still to-do they should be showing up in pink (denoting that they are overdue). If they're done, they'll disappear from your to-do list, but can be brought back into the mix by clicking the "Show done to-dos" link. Thanks for the pointer on "show past". However, that link is only visible when I'm viewing Appointments. The problem is that to-dos can also be considered "past" and I can't find any way to view past to-dos in the To-Do view or the "Any Type" view. Am I missing something?

I'm having some trouble trusting Sandy already and this is causing a bunch of my to-dos to vanish.

Since I use Remember the Milk for tasks/to-dos (we'll see if this continues if I can update Sandy from inside Sunbird) I don't have a problem at all with the inline action links. I was getting annoyed with having to go through so many clicks just to quickly edit something.

But at the same time, I can understand why people wouldn't want them. So an option to turn them off would be nice.

Sandy's helpers, I found a bug. It turns out that the "sort=date" option either doesn't work correctly, or it's used inappropriately. It excludes all unscheduled items (items without a date) and items tagged as @done.
