when i try to activate this plugin, i receive the following error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONST, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /home/.calyx/redelement/striatic.net/journal/wp-content/plugins/pingfm-custom-url-status-updates/pingfm.php on line 45
i have checked and seem to meet all the system requirements. too bad, this plugin would have been great for me.

only send email for private messages specifically directed at me.while i absolutely adore my friends' "private" bitching about their job, does it really need to land in my email inbox every time?
i would like a setting that emails me when private posts are made that specifically include me as a part of clique or ad-hoc recipient list .. but *not* when a plurk is just generically private because someone doesn't want their boss to find out they bitch about them while at work.
i know i can turn off these emails manually, but then i would lose the extra emails when someone specifically wants me to hear about something and includes me in a recipient list. i like getting emails about those messages.

implement dock badge "unread count" for fluid appsthis would allow plurk based fluid apps to show an unread count when on the OS X dock.
this is done via a javascript API, where you set window.fluid.dockBadge = "10" or whatever the unread count is.
some documentation is here: http://fluidapp.com/developer/

Can plurk add last.fm "currently listening to" integration? There have been some suggestions for adding embedded music plurks, but this suggestion is less about actually playing back music than reporting what people are currently listening to.
Maybe this could be in the status menu when you click someone's icon, or on their profile page when you visit it, but what would really be cool would be a kind of "sub-timeline" that would display an overview of what your friends were currently listening to.
The exact implementation isn't that important. Just the idea that people can see what their friends are currently listening to in some way, preferably in some kind of broad overview that doesn't interrupt the main timeline.
Music status is very popular on IM services, and i think could be very popular on plurk too.
A comment on the question "why can't members to edit or delete responses?" in Plurk:
both immediate and persistent. – hobvias sudoneighm, on February 14, 2009 00:31
A comment on the question "why can't members to edit or delete responses?" in Plurk:
noo! the great thing about plurk is that it is both. many other status update driven services like twitter and facebook allow the deletion of responses. – hobvias sudoneighm, on February 14, 2009 00:30
A comment on the question "why can't members to edit or delete responses?" in Plurk:
it makes things more complex for us, because we have to use extra plurks to clarify mistakes. responses are also *not* like IM messages in that they are public and persistent. treating them the same way is problematic. – hobvias sudoneighm, on February 14, 2009 00:11
