I guess I am in the alpha program because I've been playing around with it. You choose "Triggit" from the Triggit menu and see a bunch of offers with no pricing, and no indication who the merchant is. How would an affiliate make money, with no way to even know exactly what the product is, let alone determine what store it's being sold at? I would look at PopShops - they have their problems but it's pretty easy to pick products.

The search is still really rough. Thanks for the feedback though. We are working as fast as we can to get this sorted out. I will have Bobby email you to get you into the alpha so that you can get paid by us.
Unfortunately we had to pull out the specific shopping.com and CJ selections. We just signed deals with a whole bunch of ad providers and the only way it would work would be if we aggregated everything together. It would have been far to confusing to have dozens of choices. With one search we can make it a lot better.
Thanks a million for being so supportive and patient with us. As a baby company we really appreciate it.

I don't know if I'm in the alpha testing program or not but I have a "Triggit" choice and a Triggit quicklink choice so I tried it out today for the term "New York Asters" - as in aster flowers and I ended up with a shopping.com link that went to a page that listed New York city type things like the New York Ballet. Perhaps the quicklink could have a little box where we could type in what type of thing we are looking for. In my case it would have been something to do with live flowers or flower seeds.
I really would like to have the Shopping.com and CJ selections as there are times when I want to select a link specifically from those companies.

dragonden asked a question in Triggit on November 14, 2007 18:07:
Does Triggit only work on PHP based sites?I just started using Triggit today on my wordpress based blogs and on a Joomla based blog/website and it seems to work just fine. So I thought I'd try it on my large html based website where I tend to make most of my amazon related sales and the triggit widget isn't picking up the fact that I have the code on that site.
If I'm correct and this doesn't work with HTML based sites it would be nice if Triggit could in the future.
