A comment on the question "What's the easiest way to sync the iPhone with Google Calendar?" in Apple:
neuvasync rocks! hopefully they'll add in multiple calendar support soon (they say that's on their list of things cause right now everything gets sync'd to a single calendar on my itouch). do we know anything about pricing once it's out of beta? – turtlebud, on August 20, 2008 16:30

By far the best option for mac users (and free) http://www.google.com/support/calendar/bin/answer.py?answer=99358 – modernangel76, on August 16, 2008 15:30

By far the best way to do this is NuevaSync. Not only can you sync calendars, but you can sync them using push, over the air! (Spanning Sync has now become useless with CalDav anyway). I would HIGHLY recommend NuevaSync and it also is able to sync your contacts and may soon sync Gmail via push!

Thank you. I had that "middleman" setup. I will re-instate it. It's a little cumbersome but it works – Pierre, on August 08, 2008 19:23

(Directed to Pierre) - You could do this by using a middleman - most typical would be Outlook. There is a free Outlook Sync tool available from Google for syncing an Outlook calendar with Google calendar.
Once you have that configured and working (and it works quite well, I use it as well as BusySync to syncronize my calendars across multiple systems) then you sync the iPhone with Outlook using iTunes.
Now having said that, there's another tool available named Nuevasync that reportedly will handle over the air syncing of iPhone to Google Calendar, but I have not investigated or tested it yet, so I can't endorse it - yet. I'll post an update once I have a chance to give it a try.

Google recently published their free alternative to spanning sync and other software: see http://www.google.com/support/calenda... for the details - basically they have exposed support for the CalDAV protocol used by the latest versions of iCal.
Personally I am using BusySync instead of Spanning Sync. I've tried Spanning Sync in the past but BusySync seems to be more solid - or was when I evaluated the two of them.

See my post on this at http://thebenderhome.com/blog/. With the new 2.0 software for the iPhone and a new (BETA - CAREFUL) service from NuevaSync (www.nuevasync.com), syncing Google calendar and iPhone calendar can be handled seamlessly (if not in completely fully-featured way), even with Windows, without any fees or additional software. It's true (finally).

I travel on business, and have been working to reduce the number of things I carry. I do not want a ton of little compartments. I do not want something that is clever for the sake of clever; little discrete compartments sound great on paper but then you get held up in security by the little complimentary pen knife that got stuck in some little crevice.
Model Name: Johnny Go Lightly
1. Must be carry on.
2. No WHEELS please. Wheels mean a frame, and this is definitely a soft-side bag.
3. Courier style, convertible to Backpack, with carry handles on long and short edge of bag.
4. Outside zippered pocket for passport and airline tickets. Must be long enough to hold standard tickets.
5. Compression straps to reduce size inside and out (clothes mysteriously get bigger on return trip.
6. No metal.
7. Zippered inner compartments to segregate dirty clothes from clean.
8. Double, water PROOF bottom
9. In both subtle and glaringly bright colors (easy to spot on luggage carousel)
10. Place for iPod and headphones, including iPhone.
11. Inner pocket with removable, sealable leakproof liner for toothpaste, cosmetics, etc.
12. Straps that allow an slimline laptop case to be added externally, not internally. That allows you to check in your bag and have your laptop with a case if need be, or leave it behind if you don't need the extra bulk.
