They had a pilot program that was recently scrapped. People, apparently, liked it too much--too many riders meant...well, actually, the logic of the too many riders doesn't follow in this article.-

Why such bad communication?Hey smart Silicon Valley types-how do we fix error reporting for the Caltrain system? Conductors, customer service agents, those people who make the mumbled announcements on the overhead--no one ever seems to be able to tell you anything at all about when a train is going to come or not. There must be an easy way to update those screens at the stations with up to the minute ontime/late information. Right? Right?
