Did you buy your Pearl through a phone company? I got mine through AT&T and for any problems I've had with it, I've called them. They've even replaced it once. So you might want to try the customer service number for your cell phone provider first and see what they say. If they say you need to talk to RIM, hopefully they can give you a direct number.
