Can you please send email to myvidoop-fb@vidoop.com with your username and the details on why you think this is the case and we can take a look?
kveton replied on October 22, 2008 15:08 to the question "Not receiving my confirmation code" in Vidoop:
Did you try to do the email confirmation code? Who is your mail provider? Yahoo? Google? (please don't post your actual email address here). If you can send an email to myvidoop-fb@vidoop.com with the email you use to get confirmation codes, we can look into it.

Click on the pictures instead of having to typeWe had a user ask a question via support email asking us to change it so you can click on the images instead of typing the letters. We currently make users type them so people can't look over their shoulders and inadvertently give away their categories (this is in the cyber cafe scenario).
Is clicking on the images something other users would like to see?
kveton replied on October 08, 2008 15:07 to the question "How to turn off favicons on the password page?" in Vidoop:
There are a couple of things we could do here. We could enable it so you can turn off the favicon loading. This would be handy in a mobile setting in addition to just standard web browsing. Also, it might make sense to cache the favicons on the MyVidoop servers so that we can serve them quickly and not have to connect to so many sites.
Thanks for the feedback!! Here is the feature request:

Turn off the favicon loading for the sites tabA great feature would be to be able to turn off the favicon loading on the sites tab. This would be great in the mobile interface as well.
Another option would be to add the functionality to cache the external favicons on the MyVidoop site.
kveton asked a question in Shizzow on August 25, 2008 21:38:
It takes a long time to "shout"I'm noticing that when I go to shout its taking a rather long time for the shout to complete (the page just continues to load). I have double checked that my internet connection is solid. I'm wondering if this is because I have a large number of listeners or for some other reason.-

Integration with Yelp or CitysearchWhen I see somebody shouting from somewhere I'd love to be able to see a quick set of details from Yelp and Citysearch. It would be great to see some reviews or tags about the place aggregated from those places ... it would definitely make me add places to my "to see" or "to shout from" list.

I would like to shout via SMSI'm not sure how the interface would work but if you could SMS to Shizzow and use the short codes you've already created then it would be so much easier to shout. Something like:
shout *short code* *message* (optional)
I would <3 this greatly.
kveton replied on July 25, 2008 16:38 to the question "OWF donation?" in Open Web Foundation:
Hi Jacques ... we don't currently have a way to handle donations to the OWF at this time but you will be able to in the near future. We're in the midst of spinning up the non-profit and other mechanics like bank account, PO Box, etc to help make this organization go. In the mean time, participation on the mailing lists and here are greatly appreciated!
kveton replied on July 24, 2008 18:50 to the question "What about autonomo.us?" in Open Web Foundation:
I just found out about Autonomo.us this past weekend from Luis Villa and Bradley Kuhn while at the FLOSS Foundations gathering. I think the two efforts are different but complimentary. I love the work happening with Autonomo.us and hope to participate more in the conversations.
Specifically, the OWF is about actual specs where Autonomo.us is about the ramifications of data in the cloud and what that is going to mean for users, companies and organizations in the future ... somebody correct me if I'm wrong on this.

kveton replied on June 25, 2008 16:22 to the question "Why can't I click on the images?" in Vidoop:
The only way this might be less secure is if someone were looking over your shoulder while you're doing the clicking. That said, many of the images for specific categories are obfuscated enough to not be able to tell from one login.
Being able to do this would be quite handy for a mobile (iPhone for example) interface. You could just select each of the images in turn with the touch of the screen.
kveton replied on June 20, 2008 22:33 to the question "How do I setup XRDS discovery for my email provider?" in Vidoop:
Yes, I'm replying to my own question ... ha! :-)
Check out Brad's post on this:
http://brad.livejournal.com/2357444.html
which has the following:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!-- Sample YADIS XRDS file -->
<xrds:xrds>
<xrd>
<service>
<type>http://schemas.net/2008/email-to-url/</type>
<uri>http://apis.my-email-service.com/emai...</uri>
</service>
</xrd>
</xrds:xrds>
That's the gist of it and what we're doing on Emailtoid right now (you can do XRDS discovery there of a document much like the above).
kveton asked a question in Vidoop on June 20, 2008 22:30:
How do I setup XRDS discovery for my email provider?I'd like to setup XRDS discovery for email to ID like functionality that is described on Emailtoid but I don't know the syntax or what the document would look like.-
