Sandy uses "private" messages (ie direct) to Twitter - it doesn't go on your public "twitterings" – Bricoleur, on July 25, 2008 05:06

Twitter has been down for almost 2 months now. I really miss being able to add things to Sandy through IM.
Are we anywhere close to having a dedicated Sandy bot? Y'all can define close and decide if you want to let us know what that definition is.
If not, have you considered using ping.fm? I'm currently using it to update Twitter and Facebook status. It's in Beta right now, but they're not hiding the Beta sign up code at all.
Best of all, I can use AIM, GTalk, Yahoo!, Windows Live, iGoogle Gadget, or the Facebook, iPhone or Mobile apps to update from there.
It's something to look into.

I think it's an advantage. You will never mix up the names :) – norbiq, on May 08, 2008 06:40

For that matter, I see Sandy's creators eventually having different avatars for "Sandy", or whatever name you choose. Increased use of our imaginations is inherent in the Internet, or with A.I. assistants or companions. Sandy will get more powerful over time, but she'll be known by different names, such as "Lola" and "Mrs. Beasley."

Taskpaper format lists?I was thinking... It would be swell if Sandy could understand Taskpaper formatted lists (http://hogbaysoftware.com/products/ta...). The developer, Jesse, is very supportive of other apps that support Taskpaper.
