Frederik, that is the correct way to add blog posts. Maybe there is a problem with the RSS feed? I couldn't find you in our system. Could you either post the feed URL here or send it in an email to support@crowdvine.com?
Thanks!

We don't have that as a feature, although you can drop 3rd-party flash or javascript widgets in that page.
Here's an example RSS Widget provider:

Alex, could you share which network and which feeds you're talking about.
One possibility is that there's is a bug in the feeds for your site. We haven't had any other reports of that, but we'll test your site specifically.
Another possibility is that the site is set to private. That means you have to be logged in to see any page, including the feeds. That could definitely cause problems in a feed reader that isn't running inside your browser. Unfortunately I don't have good advice for adding your login credentials to net news wire.

Tony Stubblebine replied on October 14, 2008 16:14 to the question "Talk-centered discussions" in CrowdVine:
Yes. Every talk page has it's own discussion thread. ALso every comment in the talk threads shows up on the home page activity feed so it's easy to see which threads are active.
We just allow the single thread per session and that's been adequate for conferences up to 10k people. If people want to create additional threads they can use our standard discussion thread feature (not tied to any of the sessions).
Let me know if this helps.
Tony Stubblebine replied on October 03, 2008 00:09 to the question "How to delete map" in CrowdVine:
Quick answer: remove the conference location from Admin->About
Longer answer:
The map should automatically center on whatever location you put in the location field for your conference. In this case, Yahoo, who provides the mapping service for us failed on two counts. First, they didn't recognize the location you entered and second they don't have detailed roadmaps for that area.
You could get the map to center correctly by editing your conference location a bit (try "adelaide showground, adelaide, australia"). The map would be zoomed out over Australia and would plot where attendees lived.
