horrible problems w/ iLife iDVD

wtf? HUGE problems w/ iDVD ... this is my first time trying to use the program ... and ... like, i get all the way through the set-up of some decent slideshows and i just keep getting some crazy-ridiculous errors that are driving me OUT OF MY MIND!

i went out to Target and got more recordable DVD-Rs an' all ... no luck ... i tried clearing out enough room on my harddrive ( according to an online article you need like close to 5gb free to play ... grrrrrrrrrrr ) ... and after hours of transferring files out to DVD in the form of data disks, nothing!

c'mon ... seriously ... what's the deal ... this is BEYOND unacceptable!

Aight ... I downloaded iWork '09 as a trial ( I also bought it and the package is on the way as we speak, but that's an entirely different thread + story ;] ) ... I needed to have the most current version of Keynote as my boss has some materials I need to work from and take over in Keynote '09, right? And now, every time I open up a file, any file, in Keynote '09 ... the app let's me poke around for about, let's say, a minute, and then it completely closes out and crashes ... very frustratin'

Any ideas? Who can assist here? Any insight, direction or information is greatly appreciated ;]

i am super frustrated that Hulu wouldn't let me put a swear in my email when i went to 'share' a video clip with a friend ... and also that there is no character count ... the visual representation of the box to type the email is pretty huge, but you can only type about 200 characters with no particular indication of this as you are typing ... HUGELY frustrating when you get like 3 errors in a row and discover these hidden rules ...

i too am having issues with Facebook in Flock ... The FB being the primary social web app that i use on Flock ...

so, i noticed that once the left sidebar finally started working again, i suddenly have this more critical issue of not having any scrollbar at all in the main content window within Flock ... any ideas? what's going on here/

yeah, i'm going to try restarting the old Flock here ... i only saw the sidebar for like Bebo, which is my least favourite social web site ever ... i mean, i like it EVEN LESS than Plaxo { the birthday app ;] } ...

Well, I think I fixed it using the information from that post I linked to above ... I am getting much less email ... no copies ... which makes my life SO much nicer now ... such a HUGE difference.

hey, Nadyne ... here's another question or 2 for you ...

The UX department at Monster all started using Entourage last year ... and maybe I'm not completely used to it or something, but ...

1. How do you set an 'out of office' message up? Auto-response, whatever you call it ... I can't figure it out and typically have to go out to the company's webmail to turn this on and off when needed

2. Is there a way to invite someone to a previously sent meeting invitation without blasting all the other invitees? That's another strange inefficiency that just doesn't seem to make sense and ends up creating a huge eMess aftermath of sorts

Why do I get multiple copies of every single email that comes to my Inbox? I have a few accounts set up, but it just seems extremely crazy how many copies I get of each email. Is there anyplace I can research how to properly set up multiple accounts to avoid this annoying and time-consuming issue?

I thought I would give Zembly a spin ... put my email into a widget 'out there' on the web + got a speedy little activation sent to me via email ... I created my password + was put into a confirmation screen + then re-directed to a profile-builder of some sort that immediately gave me a modal 'time out' dialog { see below } :



What can I do to at least set up my profile + get in to use Zembly? Zembly keeps timing out on me + even if I put in my email + password I keep immediately receiving the time out message.

I'm on Firefox 3 on a MacBook Pro ... any advice? Is this happening a lot?

I still couldn't get it to work ... not sure why ...

... it also mentions on the Adobe AIR download page that the AIR Beta 1 will expire on December 11, 2007 anyhow ... I will probably try a few more times anyhow, might be an issue with the unintall or something, not sure ... I remember reading about it though ...

I also have Parallels running on my MacBookPro, and I thought I bumped across some other peculiarity about this particular scenario in my attampts to troubleshoot ...

... anyhow ... thanks again ... until then, I Pownce online ;] ...

so, if i download and install AIR Beta 1... will the desktop app work? just trying to troubleshoot this ...

or do i need to wait until the good people at Pownce release a fix?
