john started following the question "My SlingBox Pro won't connect to my router anymore. But it doesn't have the standard blinking lights to indicate a problem. The logs on my Airport Extreme indicate that it's not making DHCP requests after being reset either. Is my SlingBox dead? Any why won't you answer my many support requests through your website?" in Sling Media.

Sounds like something specific to the items in your itinerary. I'd be happy to take a closer look. You can email me at support@tripit.com. Thanks.

TripIt won't give me directionsTripIt didn't give me directions between my airport and my hotel / meetings. Did I do something wrong? Is there a way to embed directions inside my itinerary?

Logan replied on July 09, 2008 18:30 to the question "Time Machine Required to Back-up with Time Capsule?" in Apple:
You CAN do a wireless backup, but it will just be very slow. Especially if you are backing up the whole darn thing every time. That's why Time Machine is so good, because after the initial full backup, it only backs up the files that need to be, which make wireless backups more feasible (though still slow).
If you found a program that will only backup modified or new files, that might be the ticket; however, for the first full backup, I would recommend using an ethernet cable.

I had the same issue before I upgraded my MBP.
You can mount the Time Capsule as a normal hard drive and use any backup software you want, like Carbon Copy Cloner or Super Duper.
The Time Machine stuff (rolling back to any backup point, and so forth) won't be available to you, it basically works like a AirPort Extreme with a hard drive attached to it.
You might want to use a ethernet cable if you are copying the entire hard drive over (or also if for the first Time Machine backup), because it can take a long time over Wi-Fi.
