Hmm...I've never asked anyone about this internally. Personally, I've always seen it as a stair-step. To me, it looks like we take one step back before going more steps forward. This is the way we approach many of our client engagements. It's important for us to get the full picture of the problems or opportunities facing our clients before we can move forward towards a solution.

Ted, we love the tacos, too. More importantly, we love hanging out with other smart people in the design community. We try to throw a get together or two at many of the events we attend or put together. The photo above was from the 5th anniversary party here in SF. Last year, we also had a great event in SXSW. Keep an eye out for other gatherings!

Lane, we try to look at each and every market in terms of need and readiness. There are some places where the market is calling out loudly for more interaction design discussion and education, while others are more experience or product focused. We're looking forward to our UX Intensive event in Amsterdam. The response from the European community has been overwhelmingly positive.
