Labda replied on October 09, 2008 16:38 to the question "customizing panels of the cargo tote" in Timbuk2:
Sorry for the confusion. We launched 10 new specialty fabrics yesterday and right now you can only apply those specialty fabrics to the center panel of the cargo tote. But that will change on 10/13 (just nailed down that date) when we enable you to apply specialty fabrics to ALL panels on the cargo tote. So you'll be able to make an all-specialty fabric cargo tote as of 10/13. Make sense?!
By "green" fabrics we mean pro-planet. See details here: http://www.timbuk2.com/tb2/cms/border...
We're trying really hard to find and use more sustainable fabrics, so we're excited about this round of specialty fabrics.

what do you mean? more specialty fabrics will be available early next week aside from the one available online?
green fabrics? - you mean environmental-friendly fabrics? – alvin ray, on October 09, 2008 16:29

You will be able to select specialty fabrics for the Custom Cargo Tote very soon! If you noticed yesterday, you can now apply all ballistic colors to the Custom Cargo Tote rather than just a select few. Specialty fabrics should roll out by early next week. And the specialty fabrics are awesome this round - 9 green fabrics!

alvin ray asked a question in Timbuk2 on October 09, 2008 01:20:
customizing panels of the cargo totewhy can't we customize the side panels of the cargo tote with the special fabrics? we can do this with the messenger but why can't we do this with the tote? we can only utilize the special fabrics as a middle panel.
