Theory shared an idea in I want Sandy on January 31, 2008 19:28:
Need More Content in RSS FeedThe RSS feed needs some love.
I'd love to see a lot more information for items in the RSS feed. Ideally, it'd have everything that's in the UI. There is no description now, but it'd be great to have:
* The context
* Links to update, forget, archive, snooze, etc. (that stuff that's in HTML Mail).
Thanks,
David

Howdy,
The trick is to tag your messages with @sms. If you have your mobile configuration all set up, but disable the "Mobile Reminders" feature in http://iwantsandy.com/settings/mobile , you can then tag something @sms and you will get an SMS reminder.

Theory replied on January 26, 2008 00:19 to the problem "SMS replies to twitter messages" in I want Sandy:
Hi Shawn,
Sandy replies to your tweets via both Twitter and email. So if you send a lookup, Sandy will send you a direct Tweet in reply with the first result, and an email with all of the other results. If you ask her to remember something via Twitter, she will reply via Twitter to let you know she got it, and send another confirmation via email.
To the best of my knowledge, Sandy will not send you SMS replies, though she will send you SMS reminders if you've enabled them in your Sandy settings. But if you have SMS enabled for direct messages sent via Twitter, you'll get her tweets via SMS.
HTH,
David

Theory reported a problem in I want Sandy on January 25, 2008 23:28:
All Day Event Reminders Have Empty ParenthesesWhen I set up an untimed (all-day) event, reminders come with empty parens in the subject, such as "REMINDER: Order RAM ()". I think that the code decides not to put in the date or time because the reminder is the same day and there is no time, but it needs to then also omit the parens.

Hi Lista,
Thanks for the detailed experimentation, it's a huge help. I've just finished working with Sandy to make the following changes:
* When you send a message with "remember @tag", she no longer gets confused, but properly remembers the message as a note, taking the name from either the subject or the first line of the following paragraph.
* When you have a subject such as "Remind me in 3 minutes", if the message is not in reply to a reminder (in which case it snoozes the reminder), Sandy tries to construct a title from the first paragraph of the email. This should prevent the dreaded "[no name]". The detail still won't be stored as a note, though. Because you've asked for a reminder, Sandy assumes that it's an event. At least for now.
* I wasn't able to replicate the inability to click on the name of the detail the UI, though; when I had an unnamed event, I was still able to click on the words "[no name]". Have I missed something?
Thanks again for the very helpful post!

Hi Forge42,
In addition to the workaround that Lista found, I've helped Sandy to be less confused about remembering an email when you use a tag with the "remember". That change will likely go live in a few hours, which means that your example should work the way you expect by the time you email Sandy again tomorrow.
Thanks for the report!
