Cannot remove external calendar from viewI have some shared calendars that I no longer want to be shared. I have gone into the one calendar and then try to "Manage external calendars" and then remove the ones I don't want (all of them). However, when I tell it to remove, the calendar in the list disappears, then reappears. The list of external calendars on the left hand side of the calendar disappears and reappears several times in a second or two. Then everything is exactly the same as before.
I don't want my calendars shared with this 'group.'

Can I search contacts by phone number?I want to find a contact and I know part of the phone number. In contacts, when I try to search by a prefix it comes up empty. The tooltip says that results are only based on first name, last name and company. What's up with that?

I suggest people look into gopingme.com
It's the best replacement I've found for basic reminders... if that's what you're after. It's natural language abilities are not as good as Sandy but it works. I'm now using Dial2Do.com from my mobile (an iPhone in my case but any phone works) to send my short term reminders to gopingme.com and my appointments to Gcal.

Wow, it's great to see ivanmac's response here. I'm a very satisfied user of the Dial2Do service and have made use of the Dial2Do/Sandy integration frequently. Actually, Dial2Do was my main interface to Sandy.
I sincerely hope that something will come of ivanmac's gracious offer. He has obviously come to the realization that this could be a great opportunity for both Dial2Do and its users. – jd, on November 26, 2008 15:51

I can't believe you would just pull the plug on Sandy. So many people count on the service. Couldn't you have worked out some kind of agreement with the Twitter folks to at least keep the service alive even if you don't add new features/fixes etc??
You're really leaving a lot of people high and dry. If you treat your users like this now why should we trust you not to do the same again in the future?

Where is support?I have 3 help requests in, one of which is over a week old, and I have not received any response other than the automated response. Is that the kind of response times/lack of response I should expect from Jobamatic/Simply Hired?

Hi Sachin...
Thanks for the reply. That's great news!
I sent an email a week ago requesting help but still haven't heard back.
I have just sent another email to help@jobamatic.com. Perhaps this time I'll get some help.

I have set up a job board for my site. The problem is that I can't actually put it live because I can't set up my payment options since I'm in Canada.
Can you at least allow us to run job boards, even if all of the jobs are in the US? – jd, on October 09, 2008 03:03-

jd replied on September 25, 2008 13:37 to the question "not getting some sms and email reminders" in I want Sandy:
Hi Yeraze...
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I set the reminder at about 6:30 a.m. that day. If the reminder if for the same day I don't believe you need to specify an explicit date but yes, the message getting processed after the time had passed would explain why it arrived the next day. No question about that.
The concern is, can I not trust any reminders I try to set between 6-9am? For me, and I would imagine many others, this is the most common time that I would have the need to set my reminders. That is when your day is starting and you are getting organized.
jd replied on September 25, 2008 13:28 to the question "not getting some sms and email reminders" in I want Sandy:
The most recent reminder I missed receiving was at 10a.m. so I imagine it should have been fine. Not only did I not receive the reminder, I didn't even receive confirmation of the reminder being created (which was done via email) until after the time the reminder was supposed to occur. I ended up receiving the reminder the next day.
jd asked a question in I want Sandy on September 20, 2008 03:25:
Delayed confirmation ... after reminder was supposed to be sent.I'm losing my confidence in Sandy. Today I tried to set up a reminder via email. I got the confirmation email of the reminder being set up an hour after I was suposed to be reminded. I sent the email 8 hours before the reminder was supposed to happen.
How can I use Sandy if I can't rely on her?
