Great minds think alike. While I can't comment on exactly when or how we'd do this, it's is something we've been looking at and are excited about implementing in the next major revision of our service.

Textpattern's XML-RPC support is designed to match up more closely with the Movable Type API. The XML-RPC has also been quite substantially improved recently, and will be a fully fledged component in TXP 4.0.7 -- but it's not quite right to say that it's not a more modern blog API :-) A Textpattern "section" is equivalent to a "blog" in the Movable Type sense. – Rocketpilot, on July 04, 2008 06:31

It works for me and for many other members, however it does look like there may be an issue parsing your xrds file. We'll look at this, thanks for the report.

We don't plan on creating a api import interface for any of the bookmarking services, but if you're noticing something awry with our importer, feel free to drop us a line.

A comment on the problem "Forgetfulness" in Ma.gnolia:

I just did a test, by signing out and using the bookmarklet. Sure enough, Ma.gnolia asked me to sign in and it remembered the page that I wanted to bookmark. Here's an interesting thing, though. When I canceled the save, magnolia took me back, not to the page I was browsing but to my openid signin page. – Henry Halff, on June 26, 2008 20:46

Not sure about how to do it solely with a nipple mouse, but you can do it with the keyboard by placing the cursor over the spine, holding the option key and pressing the up or down cursor keys to control bulk.
