Just as an update on this one (it's been a while), we haven't heard back from Twitter, but there is another provider that can give us real-time updates from Twitter and a few other feeds with which we've had the same problem.

We'll integrate their service into our feed import scheme over the two next weeks.

I still mantain that idea, some visitors want to comment on things they see online, and that's a missing feature in Soup.

This idea started 4 months ago and there's no secure signin yet. I don't want the whole site encrypted, but the login page only. Is that really so hard to do? How much does a certificate cost when you don't want to use a self-signed one? In my opinion it's irresponsible to not offer a secure login these days...

Actually identi.ca import works without a problem:

Simply add "http://identi.ca/USERNAME/rss" as RSS feed.

Unfortunately using "http://identi.ca/USERNAME" directly doesn't work right now, we'll look into it.

(Like many other services, we are not showing identi.ca in the dropdown list.)

Andrea, if you have admin access, you should be able to remove products, provided they don't have a lot of topics associated with them. If you can point me to your company/products, I'll do what I can to show you how that works or, of course, help you remove them.

Secure login is definetly needed. Transferring passwords in plain text is simply no option. I don't know a lot of web services, that don't offer one...
