+1 for this. i used Slife for a while - even contributed some AS code for it to do this in Aquamacs - but Slife was a horrid RAM hog. if you can do this and not suck, you will be my gods.
i can easily end up with a day that is tagged "sysadmin" because i've worked in console for three clients. each terminal window has a titlebar which i could match against to know who was what, but knowing that i was using "terminal" is no real value. (i'm sure others have the same - "photoshop" or "neooffice".)-

Hmm, I'm in NZ - GMT+12 - and it's 6pm, June 3rd. If I click on "Today" in the dashboard, I see the report for June 2nd.
There's no timezone listed under settings, but my country is set to NZ.
The link to "Today" has the date hard-coded: http://www.rescuetime.com/widgets?mon...
I can click "forward" into June 3 - THE FUTURE - but since I live in the future, this is counter-intuitive.-

what i meant with "there are lots of functions in the dock icon which i had looked in the regular menus." (??) was "i didn't find what i expected in the menus, and that confused me, cos OSX menus are typically pretty consistently arranged".
if it was linux, i would've looked in all four corners for the button :)

i found "hide dock icon", it just wasn't where i expected it.
there are lots of functions in the dock icon which i had looked in the regular menus. looks like the dock menu duplicates the application menu?
* i'd expect "check for updates" under "help"
apple have some HIG which tell you where best to place menu items so they match the behaviours of other apple apps. well worthwhile if you're keen to get treated like a roman in rome :)
thanks for your feedback on the forum joe!

ps. it's really nice that your website takes a sensible attitude to "stupid password rules" (as you describe them). bit of a pity that your forum turns around and insist on a whole six letters of password, thus requiring that i now have to use a different password for your app and forum ...
any chance you could integrate the membership, so that it uses the rescuetime login for forum access?

some quick feedback (just installed - fairly happy slife user, but find the data collection in slife very slow to parse back out)
1. your menubar icon puts the menu in a funny place (over the menubar)
2. checkbox in prefs to remove dock icon please :)
3. i want to help develop the linux port - please?
cheers-
