Yeah, I see what you're saying. We use the nickname as the field to hold the person's actual first and last name, so in our case, every time we add a new contact, we need a place to enter the person's name. Anyway, it's not a huge deal... just thought we'd ask about it. Thanks for such a great product!!!

Include "Nick Name" input field when adding a new contactWhen adding a new contact, could you include the "Nick Name" field as well? Right now we have to add the contact, then go back in and edit them to add their name. This would save a step. Thanks!

How can we change a person's email address?I'm sure I must be missing something very simple here, because I know there has to be a way to do this...
When I sign into our account and click on Contacts, how do I change a person's email address? When I click "Edit" below the contact I need to change, the only fields it lets me edit are: Nickname, Hello Sticker, and Tags. This person has just gotten a new email address and I need to update it.
Can you help?

Spacing problem in guest listThere seems to be a weird problem with the spacing of the "icons" in the guest list. When we sign in to our account and click on one of our events to see who has signed up, there is always strange spacing in the guest list right beneath where it says, "10 positive responses..."
Just wondering if you could look into this. It puts 3 or 4 guests together in one row, then it might only put 1 guest on the second row, then 2 or 3 on the next row.
Is this by design?

Wow! That's brilliant!! I never even noticed that "Add Tags" link. The way you've set this up actually gives a lot more flexibility than what I was proposing, but we'll also have to be careful in the specific wording we choose for our "groups" to make sure we don't accidentally send to a broader selection than we might intend to. But, of course, we can always use the "expand" feature you mentioned to double-check before we send them out.
Thanks a million. You made my day!

Contact List would be very powerful with a "Groups" featureHey gang, we are loving this product! You've done a great job getting this thing put together. I just wanted to throw one suggestion your way...
Would you consider giving the ability to add custom-defined Groups within the Contact List? For instance, a sports club might want to create groups called "Girl's Soccer Team", "Boy's Soccer Team", "Coaches", etc., which would allow them to very easily send an invite to just one group without having to use the individual check boxes in the Contacts list. (That gets quite tedious with large lists.) But contacts must be allowed to be in more than one group. This would allow that same organization to create different breakdowns of their groups like, "Middle School Girls Soccer Team", "High School Girls Soccer Team", and so on, allowing invites to easily be sent only to specific groups of people.
This could really take invite sending to a whole new level. Just a thought. Thanks!

Screen locked while sending... says "Saving" foreverWe just created an invite, selected the guests from our Contact list, and clicked the "Save and Send" button. That was about 15 minutes ago... and the screen still says, "Saving" (with the little circular motion icon beside it.) Obviously something has gotten stuck somewhere, but the big question we need to figure out is at what stage of the saving/sending process did things stop working? Has Crusher sent the invitations out? If so, did it send them to ALL the selected contacts... just part of them??? We obviously don't want to send this twice, but we also don't want to leave it unsent. What info do you need from us to help us determine where things stand?
crushrlovr replied on November 14, 2007 04:33 to the problem "Time of event doesn't cross over into Outlook via ical" in Crusher:
Thanks Ericson. I understand your thoughts on a free form time field. But I would definitely vote in favor of creating something more specific so that when users choose to add an event to their calendar, it would include that all-important piece of information... the time of the event! When the event I mentioned earlier showed up in my Outlook calendar as an all-day event, it truly was totally useless to me because a week or two from now when I look at it, there's no way I'll remember what time that events starts. Give it some thought and maybe you can find a happy medium to make this work. Thanks for a great product!

Time of event doesn't cross over into Outlook via icalWe created an event and entered the time of the event as 12-2pm. But I noticed when I click on the "ical" option on the invitation page to add the event to my Outlook calendar that the event was added fine, but it was added as an "All Day" event with no time specified. It would be very helpful to have the time of events cross over into Outlook when using this option.
