Thank you Daniel, for your very timely and thorough reply.

In truth, I use Bold and Italic markup/formatting to stress specific words or strings of text in all my digital communications, habitually. My first question was motivated by that tendency. Secondly, it seems that the development team at Pownce has been acutely methodological in implementing core functionality while maintaining simplicity. The "less is more" principle truly shines through. I assumed there was a particular reasoning behind the lack of enriched text function, I wanted to learn from that line of reasoning. Actually, I agree that it doesn't enhance the core functionality of the network and adds unnecessary weight to the site and API client.

Unfortunately, I'm unequipped to make any useful suggestions in the implementation department, as you're far more knowledgeable than I am. Of course, whenever I have a substantial suggestion to make, I'll do so promptly and concisely.

I will say that I'm impressed with the unique and highly utilitarian concept behind Pownce. I look forward to using Pownce to it's fullest capacity. Thanks for developing such a wonderful tool, and supporting it diligently.

Wishing you continued success. Cheers :)

    Enriched Text Formatting in Notes(?)
As a new user on Pownce, I was surprised to find there is no enriched text formatting in notes.

Additionally, through research I discovered Pownce does not accept markup of any kind.

Q1: Is 'enriched text formatting' a foreseeable feature in Pownce?

    Q2: If not, why?
