A comment on the question "Google adsense ads" in Triggit:
In such case, triggit should not allow us to place adsense ads. I dont have adsense account, but using triggit i was able to insert google banner ads. – MMK., on June 24, 2008 18:25

Great question.
Triggit does not currently share in any of your Google AdSense revenue, so we don't yet track it in your My Reports section on our site.
However, to ensure you are earning revenue from your AdSense units, you need to put your Google AdSense ID into your Triggit dashboard under Preferences, Google AdSense, Publisher ID.
If you don't have an AdSense ID, you'll need to first sign-up at Google.
Triggit hopes to fully support Google AdSense through our interface soon, but we have to work out a few details with Google before they'll let us get full access to the correct data!
Thanks for checking in and let us know if you have any further feedback!
Cheers,
Susan

Most all of Triggit's current affiliate partners are based in the USA, however, we are actively looking for international partners, so if you know any companies that would be interested in getting into our system, send them our way!

For some reason triathlontrainingblog.com is not a site associated with your username in our system.
Try logging in to Triggit and choosing the My Report Tab. From here choose the My Sites tab, and add your site (triathlontrainingblog.com) there. Usually your first site is added automatically when you sign-up, so not sure what happened there, but give it a go and let me know if that works.
You can get ahold of me direct at sck@triggit.com as well if you have any further questions!
Thanks.

I am trying out Triggit. I am running wordpress 2.3.2 on my own server. I have the code placed after the <body> tag in my header template, and also in the wp-admin header template.
If I try to login to triggit while simply viewing the post, the login screen just hangs and never does anything. This error is in my error console:
Error: [Exception... "Cannot convert WrappedNative to function" nsresult: "0x8057000d (NS_ERROR_XPC_CANT_CONVERT_WN_TO_FUN)" location: "JS frame :: http://triggit.com/tool/javascripts/j... :: anonymous :: line 1" data: no]
Source File: http://triggit.com/tool/javascripts/j...
Line: 1
When I try to login while in the write/edit post screens (blog admin), I get the Login Failed: Have you placed your Javascript on this site?" error. I have upgraded to the latest firefox 2.0.0.12.
Any ideas? site is at www.triathlontrainingblog.com </body>

All content currently available through Triggit is hosted publicly through 3rd Party APIs and falls within the Terms and Conditions of the host.
For example, unless you tell Flickr and YouTube that your pictures/videos are private, they share that content through their APIs for public use under their TOS.

A few quick questions to figure out the problem.
1. Do you have Triggit javascript on your page?
2. Are you signed-in?
3. Try to highlight the text again, did the same thing happen?
Triggit is still in Beta, which means bugs. This is one we are still working on.
What is happening is that when you selected the text, you grabbed a portion of the page that Triggit does not recognize.

sck, an employee of Triggit, replied on November 30, 2007 21:56 to the question "Now that I've created my account, how do I install the toolbar for Triggit?":
The toolbar is actually a web application. Once you have installed the Triggit code on your site, you should see the Triggit Widget. Click this widget from your webpage, and the Triggit toolbar will appear at the top of your page. Once you open the toolbar, and sign-in, you can start to add content!
Good luck and keep asking questions!
