Hey Joe, the problem did eventually resolve, at which point, i think it sent several updates at once, probably all the times I had tried to send them during the day.
This is a problem that i've been experiencing all week, so I will look forward to the next patch.

We are getting ready to push an update for the Windows RescueTime (it should be in the next hour or two) that resolves a bunch of issues related to Firefox and better message handling with server timeouts.
Once you've had a day or two to run with the upcoming version (1.0.5), respond back and let me know if you are still seeing freezing issues. We're trying to bring more servers online to handle the increase in user volume, which should also help with the slow downs.

Rescue time is failing to send updates and freezing.Over the last few days, rescue time has been failing to send updates to the server.
It just displays, "looking for updates to send, ad infinitum. I have closed and reopened the service several times to no effect.
I did find this error message in the log.
It happened when I clicked the send updates button.

Error 0800: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
It repeated about nine times in the same instant.
I am still using firefox: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.14) Gecko/20080404 Firefox/2.0.0.14
I noticed that firefox could cause that error 800 message
