Hi Paul,
Thanks for your message. We can't see any major changes in our code, so it should be working. This is why we'd like to see a copy of the file you were trying to upload, so could you please send it to feedback@dopplr.com? We understand this is a bit privacy-sensitive, so of course we will destroy all copies after testing. Thank you for your help on this.

Hi Tom,
Thanks for your message, and apologies for not getting back to you earlier. Sorry to hear you've had troubles using Dopplr. We're trying to figure out what's going on, as it seems to us that the process is working fine. Could you please contact feedback@dopplr.com with some more details about what happened when you tried to purchase the SIM card (any error messages or how far did you get)? We appreciate your help on this.

Hi Nater,
Thanks for your message, and apologies for not getting back to you earlier. This is a known issue with the add trip form, and we're working on a solution. If this ever happens again, you can search for the city through the search bar and add the trip directly from the city page (http://www.dopplr.com/place/us/vt/bra...). We're sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi BijanK,
Apologies for not getting back to you earlier. We've checked in a fix for this a while ago, and the last item of this kind we saw in your journal was in August. The fix should prevent these from happening, and it looks to us that it's working fine. You do have a recorded trip to Tbilisi in January 1970 on your account, so it might be worth deleting it to see if that helps.

Hi BijanK,
Thanks for your message, and apologies for not getting back to you earlier. We didn't find any trips on your account to this location. We can only guess that this is a geolocation problem, as Neues Vorwerk is quite close to Berlin. It might also have something to do with adding trips to your home town, but as I said, we couldn't find anything special that might cause it, so these are only guesses. Sorry I couldn't be of more help this time.

Hi Mark,
Thanks for your message. On Your account page (http://www.dopplr.com/account) Dopplr offers you many ways of getting your data out of our system. The one you might need is the Atom feed of all your trips (past and future). What to do with it afterwards is all up to you.

Peike replied on October 26, 2009 10:44 to the question "What HTML is allowed in Dopplr Tips?" in Dopplr:
Hi there,
Thanks for your message. The text fields for the Tips on POI pages allow a variety of markup including formatting tags, links, and lists. Images and tables are not allowed, links are limited to FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, and mailto protocols.
Here's also an exact list of allowed tags:
'a', 'b', 'blockquote', 'br', 'cite', 'code', 'dd', 'dl', 'dt', 'em', 'i', 'li', 'ol', 'p', 'pre', 'q', 'small', 'strike', 'strong', 'sub', 'sup', 'u', 'ul'.
You can add images to the pages using the Flickr integration.
Hope this helps!

Peike replied on October 16, 2009 07:54 to the question "add new cities" in Dopplr:
Hi there,
Thanks for your message. You can add trips in the past the same way you add them to the future, using the add trip form. Select the city and the dates (the years do go back further than it shows the first time, you'll need to first select the oldest year, then the selection reloads itself), and you're set.
Unfortunately you can't change your home city in the past, so all your past trips will be shown starting from your current home city. We're sorry for this inconvenience.

Peike replied on October 02, 2009 13:19 to the question "I planned a trip but it's showing the wrong origin city" in Dopplr:
Hi there,
Thanks for your message. This happens because of two things: 1) changing your home city doesn't create a trip from your previous home city to the new one and 2) the city you start your next trip is the one where you returned to from the previous trip.
Currently there isn't a way to fix this situation after you've already changed your home city, but we've been working on desings to get this fixed. For future reference, when you're planning on changing your home city, you can add a trip to the new city (around your moving days), and while this trip's still ongoing, change your home city. This should return you to the new city, and this way your next trip should start from the new home city instead of the old one.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help this time.
