Peike replied on February 25, 2009 13:43 to the question "Travel confirmation emails are not importing in to Doppler?" in Dopplr:
Hi Mika,
Thanks for your message. You should always receive a reply from Dopplr after sending an email explaining what we did with the message. The reply also contains a link to a web page that lets you attach the message to the trip if the automatic extraction failed.
Note that you need to send the message to trips@dopplr.com from the same address you originally registered with Dopplr. Alternatively you can send messages from any address to the specific personal address we've created for you and that you can find from this page: http://www.dopplr.com/account/sending....
Please contact us again via the feedback form (http://help.dopplr.com/contact/, while logged in) if the problem persist, so we can investigate in more detail.
Cheers,
Peike

Hi Loïc,
Thanks for your message. The iCal importer tends to prefer destinations you've been to before, and you can't tell it otherwise. I've filed this as a bug, and we'll look into it asap. In the meanwhile, you can correct the destination manually in Dopplr to show the right place.

Hi there,
thanks for your message, and sorry to hear you've had troubles entering your trips. I'd say the reordering problem is caused by several trips with the same date - an issue Dopplr can't handle at the moment. However, we'll be adding a feature that allows sub-day trips in the near future, and this should solve your problem.
If this is not what caused your problem, please contact us again via the feedback form at http://help.dopplr.com.
Cheers,

Peike replied on December 15, 2008 13:15 to the question "an option to "move": one way trips and manually selecting the origin of travel" in Dopplr:
Hi Cody,
This is not the first time we get asked about one-way trips. We've been planning and designing them for a few months now, and this is our response to an earlier question of the same topic:
We've delayed the work on one-way trips a bit, mostly because to do them properly requires substantial changes to the way Dopplr works. We want to do this feature properly, so it has been pushed back a bit. (I know this is frustrating - it's one of those things that sound simple but have quite deep technical implications). Rest assured that we do know that people want it and are asking for it, and plan to do it in the new year.
Hope this helps!
Best,
Peike

Hi Charles,

Thanks!

A comment on the idea "Supporting daily commutes" in Dopplr:
Hi Alexander, on every city page there's a link that says "subscribe to a feed of fellow travellers visiting this city". That way you can stay tuned on as many places as you want. It's not exactly same as coincidences listings, but pretty close. – Peike, on November 27, 2008 14:38
