As I answer on your previous post, we are experiencing hosting problems and unfortunately, there's little much we can do about them. They're most likely the cause for the erratic behavior.
But I promise that as soon as the service starts working normally, we'll do some tests with the RSS feeds on some clients and readers.
Again, we're sorry for any trouble caused and we hope you can fully enjoy TwitterNotes as soon as possible.

Now it's possible to take private notes! We have just released the private notes feature. Now you can take a note without all your friends seeing it.
Instructions:
First you have to follow TNotes on Twitter. As soon as you receive a direct message from TNotes, you can start taking private notes (this shouldn't take longer that 5 minutes).
Then you can just send a direct message to TNotes every time you want to take a private note. You can also tag your notes like on public messages. Here is a private note example:
d tnotes No one will see this *private* *note* #TwitterNotes.
We are counting on you for testing and feedback on this feature and we hope that will make take a lot more notes and bring more functionality into yours Twitter account.
sdsantos replied on September 20, 2007 19:24 to the question "Why not use twitter nanoformats? They are perfect and standar for this app (todo:, note: and tag: nanoformats). More information at http://microformats.org/wiki/twitternanoformats" in TwitterNotes:
I didn't know such proposal has already been made to microformats. Although it seems a bit too much verbose, as soon as I find some time, I might implement them. I also wanted to know if there are users already aware and using those formats?
By the way, the tag cloud has the rel=tag microformat in every tag.

Have you make sure your entering the correct Twitter account information? It's the first time we hear that kind of problem, so we ask you to confirm it please.
If you can't really login then we will ask more information about your case, to make sure you can create account in TwitterNotes, since we would love if you could try it.-

sdsantos asked a question in TwitterNotes on September 18, 2007 10:38:
Taking private notes at TwitterNotesSince it has been a feature asked by several users. We are looking for a way to take private notes with TwitterNotes. The idea is enabling you to take notes still with any Twitter client, but not through your personal timeline.
We came with a possible solution, but we would like to hear your feedback first, before implementing it.
The method would be a direct message to the user 'NTS'. That user would have a bot to get all direct messages to him, the messages would be parsed for tags also and would never appear in your public timeline our trigger anyones notifications. The message would be something like this:
d nts Taking a *private* note #TwitterNotes
So what do you think? Share with us your opinions, concerns and other ideas for taking private notes with Twitter. Thanks in advance.
