I'm assuming you're on a PC, not a Mac. You may want to try changing the channel that the router is operating on--there could be interference from other routers using the same channel. Also, I've had some luck changing the name of my router.
Some routers have other features that can cause problems with specific transceivers. You may want to try toggling some of these off.
