First, I'm not a big fan of the "show on all spaces" (SOAS) option. However, once taking a screenshot, I would like Skitch to appear on the current space. But that's just me.
ITMW, I had crashes with Skitch with the SOAS option turned off, too. It simply crashes and takes down the finder (dock) with it. When the SOAS option is off, this was accompanied with disabling some running applications by simply hiding all windows in the system in a way that made the applications unusable and didn't even allow me to save my documents.
It started with the new version, which I downloaded a few days ado. The problem is more of less reproducible and happens when using cross-hair snaphsot when the skitch window is on another space. After doing it 3-4 times, skitch caves. I can send you a crash report, contact me directly.

I'm on a MacBook Pro 2.4 (SantaRosa)/15"/4GB running Latest OS X 10.5.5. I have an external 20" monitor attached (1680X1050, extended desktop, serves as primary) with 6 spaces (2H X 3V). I'm a heavy spaces users - I switch all the time.
I haven't noticed that Skitch appears on all Spaces until it started acting up. I can agree that this is unnecessary, nevertheless, it is still a bug. The whole "show on all spaces" seems problematic. As I noted, Skitch works fine after it was disabled.

New version (1.0b7 v77) does not play nice with Spaces? After upgrading to the latest version, I'm having tons of problems with Skitch. It crashes my Dock and hides some of the application windows. I have reasons to believe it has something to do with Spaces.
I think the source of the problem is having Skitch "Show on all Spaces" and trying to drag Skitch window from one space to another, by taking it to the edge of the screen.
Anyway, I've disabled the "Show on all Spaces" and it seems to be OK for now.

Yeah, give us more flexibility to set what's idle time and what's not.
User's activities are very different and subjective - thus, it must be customizable.
For example, i'm a programmer and often using paper for prototyping and stuff. So RescueTime shows about 3 hrs of Eclipse usage per day, but really it's about hefty 5-6 hrs.

I think you did a good job with the product. And you answered the question, which is 2 minutes of idleness and it stops tracking. There are other ways to track other time, and what Dallas Despain is asking for is probably too complex and involved. Personally I don't want to do any extra work when computer usage occurs. Once you start asking me questions and breaking up the work flow, it'll just be a pain and add to the interrupts and time to get things done. – bluespeaker, on September 24, 2008 19:22

Menu is misplaced with multiple displays if Slife is on the secondary displayI'm working with two displays in different resolutions, my MacBook Pro internal monitor is the secondary display at 1440x900 and I have a bigger 20" display running at 1680x1050. I placed the Slife window on the secondary display. The problem is that when pressing the menu-bar icon, the menu pops up in the middle of the screen. See the attached image.
The problem does not happen if the Slife window is placed on the main display.

Hi:
Would love it if TaskTop(www.tasktop.com) could be used to provide task info to RescueTime. There's a ticket raised for TaskTop to provide task info to online time-tracking applications (https://tasktop.com/bugs/show_bug.cgi...)! So if RT & TT could collaborate on this, it would be great!!
thanx

Bug: weekday goals ignore "Start of the Week" settingMy work week starts on Sunday. I marked Sunday as "Start of the Week" in my settings page. I've set up a goal of "at least X hours of work per weekday". However, this goal ignores Sunday.
Thanks,
Zviki
