The tracker uses HTTP to send its data. Do you need to setup a proxy server for your normal browser? If so, you could try to fill this in at the settings panel.

I get your concern. We are working on a rewrite of the tracker that will allow for HTTPS data instead of HTTP. I can't give you a specific ETA on this, but it's definitely on our list and in development.

You should see HTTP traffic in Wireshark, yes.

What OS are you on? If you are on Windows, you can try uninstalling Wakoopa and reinstalling again (if you already didn't do this). On Mac you can try the following command in Terminal to wipe your settings and try again: defaults delete com.wakoopa.wakoopatracker

Do you need to setup a proxy if you are browsing the internet? The tracker uses HTTP, so if you don't need one for browsing, you don't need to setup the tracker for a proxy.
