You should see HTTP traffic in Wireshark, yes.
What OS are you on? If you are on Windows, you can try uninstalling Wakoopa and reinstalling again (if you already didn't do this). On Mac you can try the following command in Terminal to wipe your settings and try again: defaults delete com.wakoopa.wakoopatracker

Ali, software will automatically be added when you use it while running the Wakoopa tracker. You can register as a software vendor at http://wakoopa.com/vendors.
Wouter asked a question in plasq on July 21, 2009 08:40:
Copy direct image URL from Skitch desktop appWhen making screenshots and using the webpost function to place these screenshots online, Skitch used to have the option that directly copied the URL of the full uploaded picture to your clipboard. Now you need to go to the Skitch site and look for it, which adds extra overhead.
Will this functionality return in future versions?
Wouter replied on July 14, 2009 10:30 to the question "How reliable is Linux tracking ?" in Wakoopa:
The total usage data is calculated once every day if a day has completely passed in the whole world. This explains why you see your data two days late. We are working on improving this, the more "live" the data can be, the better.
As we get a lot of data every 15 minutes from all our users, processing this data live is a challenge. Sometimes we are backed up an hour in processing these. It's also in the works to process this better
As for the applications that are not tracked: can you give me your username? I can check out we're missing things.

A comment on the problem "Wakoopa tracker not working in Mac OSX" in Wakoopa:
That's strange. Can you run this command in your Terminal (Application > Utilities > Terminal):
defaults read com.wakoopa.wakoopatracker
Copy/paste the result and send it to wouter-at-wakoopa-dot-com? Thanks :) – Wouter, on June 26, 2009 11:33
