I couldn't reproduce this yesterday in Firefox 3 beta2...
But looking at the HTML, there are several oddities in those imported posts: image tags with slashes in the middle of the tag, as well as a bunch of list items not contained in a list.
I'll try and test which one caused the HTML to break, and whether we can in the future sanitize imported posts better.

Absolutely! Currently the plan is to look at the AtomPub standard as the basis for our API, which would make Soup compatible with most existing blog publishing software, and provide a very easy interface for new third-party apps to access Soup.
However, we haven't begun work on this yet, so it will be another while...

Thanks for the suggestion, that makes a lot of sense: I added it to our todo list. We plan on releasing an update before the new year, it should be included then.

aber zwischendurch koennen wir den account wohl schonmal anlegen - steht bei den bisher gemeldeten faellen wohl ausser frage das sie members sind und das form vorallem formalakt ist.
