What's up with Twitter's Remember Me lately? It seems like every time I visit Twitter.com via web or mobile browser (safari), I have to sign in. I'm getting really sick of authenticating. I haven't changed my browser settings, so wondering what's up.

thanks, that's helpful. I haven't been able to to do it at work, but I'll try from home. I have comcast, so I may have the same issues. Thanks for posting the related item :) – kimlaama, on May 16, 2008 18:37

Most of it makes sense, such as the experience not emphasizing mutual connections.
What doesn't make sense to me is not seeing the people that have added me as a contact. The only place I can see that is if I pull up the email notification.
My scenario: I received an email a few weeks ago about people who added me as a contact. I didn't pay much attention, and may have even deleted the email. I received a new email today with another contact notification. Great! Now what? I go to the site because now i'm ready to see what these contacts are all about, and poof, nowhere to be found. I guess i don't see the point in telling me people have added/followed me if I can't retrieve that information later.
golly gee whiz, you guys are good listeners, and good sports.

Where are my peeps under Contacts?I have recently received emails about people who have added me as a contact on get satisfaction. When I visited my Contacts page, I expected to see the people who added me under the Contacts tab. Does it not work this way?
p.s. love you guys! xoxo

How can I get video chat to work? I need to get my flirt on...Since installing Leopard, I haven't successfully been able to use video chat with any of my ichat contacts who have the video icon. Anyone else having this problem?
Is this because of a firewall or something? I could do open a video chat with a coworker in my office, but haven't been able to connect outside the network.
Ya think this is a firewall issue at work?

MacBook Pro Updates Slowing Down OS windows, panels and menusI did a big fat update to my MacBook Pro today, including the following:
Digital Camera Raw Compatibility 2.0
iPhoto UPdate 7.1.3
QUicktime 7.4.5
iTunes 7.6.2
Time Machine and Airport 1.0
Front Row Update 2.1.3
Security Update 1.1
Safari 3.1
Keynote 4.0.3
Now my mouse is tracking slowly, windows, panels and menus are opening and fading slowly. Anyone know of any issues with these updates. suggestions? I've re-started a few times, but having the same result.
Issue seems intermittent, but occurring over and over again. Also, my clock was reset to the wrong time.

Noodle soup - bummer! Less is more when communicating with the Apple Geniuses. You could opt for saying it "stopped working" and if they mention the water sensor, you can confide what happened - perhaps not the *entire* noodle soup incident. Honesty and humility are always better than anger, impatience at the mac store. Perhaps they will have mercy on you since it is new. Worst case scenario, you spend $250 for it to go in for service. The other great thing about Apple iPhone service is that you can opt for a loaner phone while they fix yours!

My telephone wasn't completely submerged in water (gin and tonic actually) - if you take it to a store, they can tell whether or not the water sensor was damaged. If it was, you'll have to pay the repair fees. The apple geniuses told me that technically, if the water seal wasn't damaged, it is covered under warranty as "just not working."
the water sensor is in the headphone jack.

I'm curious how many people are actively using the "feeling" featureI think I remember a cool interactive thing where you could see the overall mood of a topic or company. Did that disappear?
I've been thinking a lot about mood surrounding a discussion or bit of information, and look to you guys for inspiration on this.
I think capturing human feeling is a brilliant way to make for a more "human" experience.
Is there somewhere I go to view the mood about a company or a topic that I'm missing?

Unfortunately, you cannot access your book's source file via the web. You have to export, then import your book file to work on it from different computers.

LastFM creating a crash report in leopardEverytime LastFM opens, it goes into an "Application Not Responding" mode. I tried re-installing, but didn't fix it. Only has happened since I installed leopard. There were no updates available from the lastFM web site
