Hmm. You can either turn embedding off (and no one including you can embed it), or you can keep embedding on (and then anyone can embed it). There is no in between option.
You do find out if the document is embedded anywhere. So if you keep embedding on and tell everyone not to embed it anywhere. If they do embed it, you will find out (click on the stats link on the slideview page, it will show you a list of sites where slideshow has been embedded).-

Can there be more privacy with embedded presentations?I am considering using slideshare in an educational context embedding presentations into a password protected Virtual Learning Environment. For that reason I would like the option of having a player that at least did not offer up the embedding code to the students.
