t3mujin shared an idea in Brightkite on July 30, 2008 10:30:
Google Talk status checkinThere are some services out there that are updated by Google Talk statuses.
Some people like to set their their location on their IM status, like "I'm @home ".
So why not allowing checking when setting GTalk status message using the configured placemarks on Brightkite?-

A comment on the question "Photo check-in?" in Brightkite:
t3mujin, we don't have any sort of ETA at this point. Once we get the iPhone app out the door we'll be able to focus on some of these features that have been lingering for a while. :) – Lesley, on July 23, 2008 16:22

mark: yes. feedly uses Google as it authentication provider this way people who have a Google Account do not need to create yet another account. Here is the intro page which should have popup the first time you install feedly: chrome://feedly/content/app/firstrun.htm – Edwin Khodabakchian, on July 12, 2008 16:48
A comment on the problem "Extension not installing on Firefox 3" in Feedly:
This sounds similar to what I'm experiencing now. I just upgraded to FF3 and installed Feedly. It was confusing at first to know what Feedly was supposed to do because the button was a regular RSS button, but I understand that's what Feedly looks like now.
The problem, however, is that when I click on that button I'm taken to Google Accounts and asked to login. Is this the proper behavior? – marksierra, on July 12, 2008 15:42

I have this problem under Twhirl 0.8.3 and Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.3.
Twhirl has great support for multiple accounts but only remembers / launches a window for one of them, and doesn't remember my password for it. When I click 'Accounts' then I can add the second account again but at the moment I have to do this every time I log in.
So close to being the perfect twitter client!

Note: I think that the reason why creating a new profile addressed this problem is that Third Party Cookies are allows by default in the browser. So OLD profile + changing manually firefox to allow third party cookies should have worked as well. – Edwin Khodabakchian, on June 24, 2008 16:48
