We set up a new Beanstalk user whose sole purpose is to receive commit emails. This user's email address is a google apps mailing list address everyone interested in the commits subscribes to.

This is nice since it lets us manage who gets what emails from the google apps interface instead of having to manage subscriptions across several apps.

Probably wouldn't have done this if we were getting our own commits, so I think the small pain was actually a good thing. How about it!?

I like it too. Having the complete trail in email is a Good Thing.

Hi Vincent,

We turned this off a long time ago to avoid clutter. Our logic was that you know your commits already, so sending an email would just create more information overflow in your inbox.

If anyone else wants this, please let us know.

Sorry for it taking so long, but the fix is deployed on server now. It'd really help us if you could try and see if it made any difference.

We will let you know exactly what happened after we investigate it. For now, it seems to only have happened on your account. I will contact our Payment Gateway and make sure the charges are voided and credits immediately.
