Hi James,
Thanks for the feedback. I like this idea, particularly remembering it for the current session only. We'll have a chat about putting it in.
On our longer term feature list is to add support for keyboard shortcuts throughout the app, although it will be a little while before we can schedule this in.

Manual entry input remembers most recently entered dateI'd find it much easier when entering a lot of data from old bank statements in previous months/years if the a new entry defaulted to using the last date I'd entered data for.
This should probably be only active for the length of the current browser session to avoid confusion but would allow entering a bunch of details much more easily as the date can quickly be changed using the calendar control which would be at least on the right month/year.
An additional nicety would be to be able to use keyboard controls to increment/decrement the date shown.

James A reported a problem in Less Everything on September 30, 2008 16:41:
Date interpretation issues when importing a QIF fileWhen I import a QIF file it displays the entries as rows for editing with all the dates in the form DD/MM/YYYY. However on saving these it confuses some of the entries.
If a date is something like 26/09/2008 this is entered to the system without problems (as 26th September 2008) but 03/09/2008 is interpreted as 9th March 2008 rather than the 3rd September 2008. In other words, if the date could be interpreted as being in North American format it assumes it is, even though other entries in the same file are in European order.

Should the Data Robotics forums be only available to existing owners?A fairly recent change is that the Data Robotics forums for discussing Drobo related issues are only available to owners.
My own experience is that I found access to them invaluable to my decision-making process and helped me with my decision to buy. Additionally it prepared me for some of the issues I might come across and anwered questions regarding compatibility, etc.
The Drobo is a great product and restricting access may seem like censorship to some.
My own view is that Data Robotics should make the forums accessible to all, to the benefit of both prospective customers and Data Robotics.-

iRedLight can already do it. I hate having to use other apps to make the first one behave how I want, but iRedLight can control any program just about, and it's built to do it. This would leave the wonderful developer of this software more time to (please) tackle getting some BWF, WAV support going! audio engineers everywhere await this boon!
A comment on the idea "Apple Remote control??" in SuperMegaUltraGroovy:
apple remote has the ability to recognize buttons being held down, as well as double clicks. maybe a press and hold of the play/ pause to record, press again to stop, press again to play. if they don't build it in, I'm sure that iRedLight could handle the duty – strangenotez, on August 23, 2008 12:43

You're a smart guy, Phil. Making the carbon footprint calculations more accurate is an excellent idea, and multiple transportation methods sound great! – Voyagerfan5761, on August 19, 2008 02:00
