This is a good idea but it isn't as simple as it might sound. Each convention center has its own house rules which may or may not prevent this kind of thing. I can't remember whether it was Chicago or Vegas where we wanted to do this and were told we couldn't.

There is also a cost associated with this, but it is a high visibility sponsorship opportunity.

We will definitely ask this question for Pittsburgh and do what we can.

We did have it available online, it was a link at the bottom of our page with other links like our facebook group, second life, etc. We tried to promote and use it, but there were some technical difficulties with it Thursday night and as usual cell service was spotty in the general session room.

But we will try and see if there are other ways to use this next time.

Maddie, Pelosi's schedule was not cut short, she was always scheduled for an hour and that's how long she spoke. We were able to get additional time to squeeze in Gore by taking it from other parts of the schedule.

It wasn't a stunt or a deliberate bait and switch, we were thrilled Gore could attend and we chose to accommodate his schedule.

1. Go to the registration page: http://www.regonline.com/Checkin.asp?...
2. Select the Existing Registration radio button, enter the email address you used to register, and then click Continue.
3. At the next screen, you are prompted to enter the password you created when you registered, and then click Continue.
* Note that the password screen has links the you can click if you have forgotten your password or do not have a password.
4. At the next page, click the Make a Substitution link. Your attendee information displays.
5. Enter the new email address, first name, and last name for the new attendee, and then click Finish. A confirmation page displays indicating that the registration record was updated.

Glen Greenwald was invited to participate on several panels this year covering a range of issues that he writes about frequently. He was not able to make it to Netroots Nation this year because of travel logistics.

There will be a number of panels covering the issues surrounding FISA but none that take the issue on directly. For example we have one called The Next President and the Law (http://www.netrootsnation.org/node/817) and Big Telecom: An Emerging Threat to Our Democracy (http://www.netrootsnation.org/node/791). We do have rootscamp-style self organizing sessions where people can convene and discuss this issue and activism around it.
