This still seems to be a problem. I know it's on the list of things to be fixed, and I'm sure that it's considered a minor issue, but visible issues like this can tend to damage the image of a company (or service) if they happen over a prolonged period of time.

Overall, I'm less concerned about the bug itself and more concerned about Pownce's image.

I just checked and it shows a 404 error - page not found.

I will check again in a few days in case the person who hijacked the page manages to get into it again.

So thank you - it appears the friends at blogger came through. I am much obliged for your help.

Actually, Blogger is a distinct group within Google. We know some people over there and can ping them via the backchannel. Stay tuned.

They have actually been pretty good about responding to people, but I have a feeling they don't work weekends. Hopefully you'll hear something back tomorrow (Monday).

I had rather hoped that the little notice at the top of the page that states that "2 google employees" are "listening and participating" would result in them joining in with something ...

Still, it feels slightly less lonely with your response than it did for the first 21 hours and 58 minutes...
