on my statement, it shows up as a monthly fee. so, if i did 4 transactions on other atms, i'll be billed $8 at the end of the month. however, i recently opened a new account and closed the old one and now i'm not seeing that charge even though i've been using other atms. maybe it the kind of account that i had? or, will they catch up to me and bill me $1MM in 10 years? heh.

i looked on the sharp healthcare site and there are links to a number of classes, but they aren't sorted by time of year.

livlab - oh, they are skilled! and persnickety. the 17 year old was given white albacore tuna once, and after that refused to eat regular old tuna.

i've heard that tuna is bad for them, so they just get a little taste. next to being petted, it's their #1 joy in life! and, they totally dote on me. however, i am not old. just them.

I have been really lucky that my cats are still going strong, but when you start realizing that at best, you have maybe 3 years left with them, you want to do what you can. It's a balance - do I make them eat food they don't like to keep them with me longer or let them die happy? And does the food really help them feel better or live longer or does it just cost more and taste crappy to them?

I kind of gather that Luvs is a less expensive brand, and there are different diapers for different growth and activity stages. I also love the idea of the Kandoo line, especially remembering my teenage babysitting adventures in which one child would yell out "wipe me!" each time she used the toilet. But, there is just so much available out there - how do you decide and is it overwhelming? I had to buy diapers for my nephew recently - my sister said to get Huggies, but even having the brand narrowed down, it took me forever to figure out which ones and what size.

i think that is what is meant in the guidelines by "satisfaction is in your hands but out of your control". unless the question is obviously a troll or otherwise inappropriate based on the guidelines, it should stay put. as a marketer, i believe companies should be open to all questions and answers provided by users. it's information that is valuable to you in creating a great experience for your customers.

the advantage you have as an admin for a company or product is that you can directly and officially respond to your customers. if there is an answer a user gives that is incorrect, you can correct it. if someone has posted a question or started a conversation that perhaps you didn't expect, work through it with them. ultimately, satisfaction is a wealth of information for both your customers AND you and it builds tremendous goodwill to be open to listening to the users of your product/s.

Yes. Kaiser doesn't cover health care costs you incur in other countries. Even in the states, they will only emergency room visits at non-Kaiser faciities and then only if you call and have it approved before you go. Otherwise, within the US, you can visit a clinic and pay out of pocket and file a claim later.

Internationally, there are insurance plans for expats, students, and business and leisure travelers. You can pick the amount of coverage you want, copays, etc. You're usually covered for one trip or if you're a frequent traveler, a certain number of trips a year. These plans will even include "evacuation" - getting you home as quickly as possible if the health care system where you are visiting is substandard, delivering your body back to the States if necessary and travel for a family member to come be with you while you are hospitalized. Just search online for "travel medical insurance" for the various companies that offer it.
