Can you please not change my short URI settings? =)I'm not a fan of bit.ly, I've had some negative experiences with the service in the past and I find it unreliable. Which is why I had specifically selected my URIs to be shortened through TinyURL. Now for some reason, last night I noticed that suddenly all my feed settings have been automatically changed to use bit.ly instead. And guess what, all the bit.ly links sent to my various networks [through Ping.fm] via twitterfeed are broken. Yes, they all give "not found" errors.
Then I went and manually changed all the settings back to TinyURL, and everything works fine again now. So could you please not automatically switch me to bit.ly again? Thanks! =)
A comment on the idea "Higher number of new updates posted each time!?" in twitterfeed:
True, and in addition, Twitterfeed sends updates to ping.fm as well as twitter, meaning that you could be sending these updates to a lot of different social networks or even a personal blog. So it really should be the user's choice if they want to post a high number of updates each time. – Aasemoon, on July 13, 2009 16:23

Higher number of new updates posted each time!?I was wondering if you could please increase the maximum number of updates posted each time to something higher than 5? Perhaps 20 or so? That would be extremely helpful. =)

Why does twitterfeed only fetch the very last item of the feed when updating and ignores other new items?I'm currently fetching a number of feeds and sending them to twitter and ping.fm via twitterfeed. Sometimes twitterfeed updates faster and sometimes slower. The problem is, specially when twitterfeed takes a long while to update, more than 1 new item may have appeared on each feed, but twitterfeed only fetches the very last new item on each feed and passes them on. I also realize that it's possible to change the number of items twitterfeed processes each time, but that would result in the new items being collected into one single item, cluttered and rather useless, so I don't believe that's the option I'm looking for.
Basically, I would like twitterfeed to fetch and post all the new items in each feed, one by one.
I'd appreciate any suggestions!-

Ok so after about 24 hours the first item from the feed was sent to my Ping.fm. Then I added a couple of more feeds and the same story repeats... it seems as if the service is working, but it takes forever for data to be send and received. This really makes the intervals meaningless.
Any chance of this getting resolved?

Hi Mario, thanks for your response. Well I've tried it with several feeds so far but the main one is this: http://blog.aasemoon.com/rss.xml . I'm trying to get twitterfeed to send items from this feed to Ping.fm. I submitted this feed hours ago, but it still has the new feed status and nothing has been sent to Ping.fm. My interval is 30 minutes. I'd appreciate the help!

Why does twitterfeed not send anything to my Ping.fm?Twitterfeed is not sending any updates from my feed to my Ping.fm. And my feed status says "Not checked yet, new feed?". My feed was checked and looks fine. Any ideas as to what's wrong?
