There are two threads intertwingled here. There are favicons, which work fine in PBwiki 1.0 (paid version); I've had one on my wiki for a year or more now.

Then there is having a logo on the top of the Web page (NOT in the address bar), and that can be done in two different ways: using JavaScript in PBwiki 1.0, or it's a fabulously-implemented feature of PBwiki 2.0 (beta).

Hi Guy - I have a gold wiki and I'm able to upload this, so you should have no problem with a Platinum. As Joel responded above, all paid wikis have this feature.

Does anyone have an answer to my question about whether or not I need to pay more than I already have to get the favicon feature? Or do I need to start a new thread?

Thank You, Kristine, but I need to actually use my Wiki now, and the first page I tried to create in PB v2.0 was so problem-filled (tables didn't even begin to work right for me) that I decided that I had to continue to use v1.0 until v2.0 is "ready for prime time".

If it were just my personal Wiki, I'd love to test for you, but I actually need my TEAM In Training participants to have easy access & use right now.

Hey all,

With PBwiki 2.0 you will easily be able to upload your logo to your wiki. This will be a premium feature, and it won't involve any CSS or special configuring.

You can sign up to create a brand new beta wiki right now, or wait for a few more weeks when you can transition your 1.0 wiki to a 2.0.

While I appreciate the information, I am at a loss as to why I have to do any coding to make this work, when everything else is moving towards WYSIWYG.

Why can't I just replace your logo on my pages??? Yes, I am paid now.

Thanks for the updates! Glad to hear that it's working. Sounds like IE7 works sometimes but not others? If you can give me specific steps to reproduce I'd be able to get to the bottom of this sooner. Let me know!

Its working in FireFox, but not in IE7 for me.

I'm guessing that the problem might be that your browser hasn't realized that your favicon has changed and is still showing the old one. Try loading http://[your wiki name].pbwiki.com/favicon.ico and hitting "Reload". Try pressing Ctrl+R on that page too.

Let me know if one of those things fixes it.

Yup, you can see it on my personal wiki: http://joel.franusic.com/

I added the custom favicon a while ago, but if my memory serves, I think I had to refresh my browsers cache before it showed up.

I believe this feature is broken in Internet Explorer. Joel, can you provide a link to an upgraded user PBwiki that uses this feature? I'd like to see it in action.

I have upgraded to Silver and uploaded favicon.ico to the wiki.

Favicon support is a paid feature. Once you have favicon support, you just upload a file called favicon.ico to your wiki.

Is there any specific location where i have to upload the favicon or just have to upload it under files?
