Hmmm... very strange. I had a similar problem recently trying to huffduff a file that was stored on Amazon's S3 service —pretty much anything from http://www.speechification.com/

I'll look into this and see what I can find out.

Right. It looks like this was indeed an issue with Twitter's API. They've removed the ability to do a user look-up by email (although I can find no announcement of this change on their API wiki).

So now the only way that a Huffduffer account can be explicitly associated with a Twitter account is by URL.

If you add a link from your website to your twitter page (using rel="me") then your Twitter icon will appear on your Huffduffer page once the Google Social Graph API has updated its cache.

Alternatively, you could list your Twitter page as your URL on Huffduffer.

Meanwhile, I'll see whether the change to Twitter's API is deliberate or a temporary unforeseen bug.

I think there's a bug with Twitter. I'll start trying to track it down more exactly.

That's strange. According to Twitter, the email associated with the Huffduffer account for "suchosch" is the same one associated with the Twitter account for "show".

Did you update your email address on either site recently? Do you have any connection to twitter.com/show?

Grrr... I suspect it's something on host server; the same thing that forces the file to download rather than play in the browser. If that's the case, I'm not sure if there's anything I can do about it.

I was telling someone about how great Readernaut is and sent them off to the site. They said, "what, no about page?". I said, "yeah there is, right there in the footer." Not true, it turns out. It's true for every page on the site *except* for the sign-up/log-in page.

Just thought I'd point it out.

norelpref, the link that you point to (annoyingly) redirects to a different URL. You'd need to huffduff that final URL.

Zac, thanks for the heads-up on the issue with spaces in the URL. I've tweaked the validation accordingly.

Sorry. I've changed all the RSS feeds to now list 20 items instead of 10 (it's a bit impractical to show *everything* ever huffduffed; the file size could get very big). Let me know if this is enough.

There is no MP3 file on that page. There is a Flash movie that presumably points to an MP3 file but nowhere on that page is there a link to an audio file. Sorry. It looks like Tumblr deliberately obfuscates the location of the audio file, making the Flash player the only way to hear the music.

Ah, there appears to be something on the PopTech server that forces the MP3s to download (rather than playing in the browser). That's probably what's confusing the Flash player.

Bugger! I suspect this has something to do with the query string in the URL to the MP3 file. I don't think it's something I'm going to be able to fix if it's a problem with the Flash MP3 player (until a new version comes out).
