Adam replied on October 08, 2008 04:00 to the problem "MSN bot not responding" in Ping.fm:
The MSN bot doesn't seem very friendly, it only accepts about half the friend requests. I have to manually accept the rest. Even the manual process takes about 10 tries of logging in, accepting, blocking, unblocking, accepting, logging out over and over until all friends are accepted. It seems like the MSN protocol is not very reliable. I have tried the bot, official client, trillian client, meebo, and msn website, all seem to have the same problem accepting multiple friends.
It should be caught up for now though.

Looks like Spaz is the best options for now. I miss the twitpic options in Spaz. – v3rona, on October 07, 2008 18:26

Hi Sean, thanks very much for the quick clarification. It's much appreciated. I was under the mistaken impression that because we can update pingfm via the bots at gmail chat and msn, the facebook app also works similarly. My wishlist: For a facebook app that allows pingfm to feed from facebook status updates. :)
Anyway, that's just a wish. Congrats on the good job with pingfm. I especially like the wordpress plugin.

If you use Twitter, try the "Spaz" Twitter software client. It connects to Ping.fm which resends the message to all your networks. It use Adobe Air, so it works on Windows as well as Mac and you can get it here:

That is an optional setting that is on by default. Uncheck the option "Link to voice message" on http://ping.fm/spinvox/
