Adam replied on May 07, 2009 11:14 to the question "how do i allow multiple email addressed users access to the wiki?" in PBwiki:
Hi Leslie,
You can add as few or as many e-mail addresses as desired for a single user on your workspace's "Settings" > "Users" page. However, a user must have the e-mail addresses associated with his/her PBworks Account before they will be able to access your workspace.
Depending upon the e-mail addresses, it might be easier, especially in terms of identifying who's making changes, if you only allow a user to access your workspace with a single e-mail address.

Hi Moja,
Thanks for including the ticket #, I was able to check-up on this for you. Since you submitted your inquiry a few days ago on a Saturday, our billing team wouldn't normally see this until the start of the business week on Monday. The person who can help you is back in the office today (Tuesday), so I expect that you'll receive a response later today.
I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused by the slight delay!
As for the Presenter Packs, please use your wiki's "Help" link to contact our Support team directly regarding this issue.

If you're interested in modifying your wiki's base CSS, you'll want to upgrade to a Premium Classroom wiki.
Then, to modify your wiki's CSS, you can go to your wiki's "Settings" > "Advanced Settings: CSS & Javascript"
For the base wiki CSS, please check out http://pbwikicustomcss.pbwiki.com/Doc...
Also, in the future, for the quickest and best help, please use the "Help" link in the upper-right corner of your wiki to contact our Support team directly.

Adam replied on April 20, 2009 02:16 to the question "colour change onmouseover" in PBwiki:
Hi Sebastian,
That's a great idea!
The easiest way to do this would be to set the text color to match the cell background color using the hexadecimal color (e.g., #cc3300).
Then, when users select the contents of the cell, the text will be revealed.
To have text change colors on hover, the text would need to be contained in a link, you'd have to modify your wiki's CSS, and your color options would be limited to one. Using the simple method of matching the cell background color with the text color gives you hundreds of color options.
Adam replied on April 17, 2009 19:24 to the question "classroom accounts - student usernames/passwords" in PBwiki:
Hi Moja,
You've got some great questions, let's see if I can provide you with some clear answers:
1) Only the password field for Classroom Accounts is case-sensitive, so please make sure that your students' CAPS LOCK setting isn't the cause of failed log-ins. The user name Johnny Doe and johnny doe are both acceptable, since this field isn't case sensitive (just as it isn't for e-mail addresses in the standard account log-in).
2) Unfortunately, because of the special nature of the Classroom Account (it's not connected with an e-mail address), a user name can only be used once. This prevents user name sally smith from the class of 2010 accessing information created by user name sally smith from the class of 2008. However, the "Name" field does allow for multiple instances of the same information, so when you recreate a student's Classroom Account, you can add their name again, you'll just need to give him/her a different user name.
3) If you are currently the owner of a Premium PBwiki, you can create a folder and apply custom folder security so that only you have access. For more details on doing this, please check out this page from our Manual: http://pbwikimanual.pbwiki.com/Folder...
Any files or images stored in a secured folder will not appear in Students' list of Images or Files to insert in the "Insert Links" section of the Editor.
If you are using a free PBwiki, you can click on the "Upgrade" link in the upper-right corner of your wiki to gain access to advanced security features, customization features, and more.
I hope that this information sufficiently answers your questions, but please let me know if there's anything else that I can help you with.
Also, just so that you're aware, you can use the "Help" link in the upper-right corner to contact our Support & Services team for even quicker support.

Adam replied on April 12, 2009 11:14 to the question "SideBar not visible after migrating" in PBwiki:
Hi Niilo,
It looks like you've got a "status indicator" code that's interfering with your wiki's normal functioning. Please go to http://dvis.pbwiki.com/SideBar and remove that code--this should restore your SideBar and Right Panel elements.
Afterwards, you may be able to re-insert the code, but please use the HTML/Javascript plugin to do so.

Adam replied on April 07, 2009 10:17 to the question "Folder issues past and new" in PBwiki:
Hi Moja,
As previously mentioned, you can drag-and-drop files into folders or use the "Move" button in your wiki's Pages & Files area.
If you have a Premium wiki, you can set custom Folder security by clicking on the folder's name and then on the "Folder Security" button.
When uploading or editing, your wiki's Writers will only be able to insert images and files to which they have access.
Adam replied on April 07, 2009 08:21 to the question "Folder issues past and new" in PBwiki:
Okay, thanks for the clarification!
Actually, the easiest way to find a file or image while editing is to use your browser's Search function (CTRL+F). Because the search will only include the currently displayed files and images, you'll probably benefit from clicking on the "Show all # files" link before searching.
Adam replied on April 05, 2009 10:39 to the question "Folder issues past and new" in PBwiki:
Hi Moja,
Those are some great questions!
Here are some quick answers:
1) The ability to create sub-folders is something that we're working on, but is not yet available.
2) Because the list of Folders currently displays alphabetically, the easiest way now to rearrange the folder order is to add a letter or number at the beginning of the folder name. Additionally, there is an existing Feature Request for the ability to reorder the folder list as you wish, so I've added your comments in its support.
3) It's easy to place files in folders, you can either drag-and-drop them or click on the box next to the file name and then use the "Move" button to place the file(s) into the desired folder. This should help you to keep your image files organized and separate from your students' files.
However, the ability to add custom folder security is reserved for Premium Wiki Administrators. In order to access this feature, you'll want to upgrade your wiki to a Premium Classroom wiki.
Adam replied on April 01, 2009 09:54 to the question "Paste from Excel to NumSum plug-in? Not so fast..." in PBwiki:
Hi Chris,
Have you created a free NumSum account? In order to access extra features, such as pasting in cell data from an Excel spreadsheet to a NumSum, you'll need to set-up an account with them.
Also, here's a link to a page in our Manual that might be helpful after you've got your NumSum account: https://pbwikimanual.pbwiki.com/Addin...
Lastly, PBwiki version 1.0 was discontinued on March 9th, so any information that you find regarding this outdated version might not be relevant to the current version of PBwiki.

Hi Again, Alan's Mom!
I'm sorry to hear that you're having some issues with your wiki's page display.
It sounds like one of your wiki's users might have unknowingly pasted some content to a wiki page that contained some HTML tags and is interfering with the page's display.
Please contact us at PBwiki Support by clicking on the "Help" link in the upper-right corner so that we can help you to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
Adam replied on March 16, 2009 03:45 to the question "Free vs. Not Free" in PBwiki:
Hi Alan's Mom,
Great question!
In a nutshell, Premium versions of PBwiki have significantly more features including greater security controls, backups, customization, etc. than the free versions.
For a complete breakdown of the features by wiki version, please check out the table in our Manual at: http://pbwikimanual.pbwiki.com/Billin...
