Adam Fortuna replied on November 20, 2009 19:31 to the question "Re-posting: Can I give the advertiser a freebie?" in IZEA:
Sounds like a good idea! There's no problem with re-posting the link. Getting more clicks through re-posting it will lower your CPC (lower = better of course) even more while raising your FAR score (ratio of clicks to your number of followers), so you'd look more attractive to future advertisers in both cases. We'll keep checking your bitly link every few days even after it's been paid out, so we'll have up to date stats for advertisers even if you re-post it a week later. We stop updating the bitly stats for old links eventually, but you're good to re-post it for at least a few weeks.

Hey Justin, I can look into it -- what's your twitter screen name?
After an advertiser has missed the deadline for them to approve/reject a tweet though, it should be automatically approved at noon the following day. Nothing is every "stuck" in an advertisers queue, it'll always been cleared out in a timely manner. I can check on your case though, if you think it could be a bug.
Adam Fortuna replied on November 19, 2009 15:14 to the question "Missing a referral on Sponsored Tweets" in IZEA:
Hey Connie, sorry it's taken so long to get back to you. ;/ Busy times for our last release around here.
We found out what happened with this referral. Looks like they entered your name rather than your twitter handle which is why it wasn't showing up. I just changed it so that you're their referrer, so that should show up for you. Thanks for your patience!
Adam Fortuna replied on November 19, 2009 15:04 to the question "Can someone explain the PROCESS of sending a Tweet via Sponsored Tweets?" in IZEA:
Good answer enjayneer! As he said, with SponsoredTweets tweets, you never manually tweet yourself (through twitter.com, TweetDeck, Seesmic, Twitteriffic, etc).
Instead you log into sponsoredtweets.com using Twitter Oauth and setup tweets to go out under your name. We'll handle everything after that including when to send it. We'll have access to tweet under your account thanks to Oauth, so Tweets will go out under your name (but with the source as SponsoredTweets). This jives with Twitters policy on advertising (all sponsored tweets must have that kind of a source).
Here's an example of what one looks like: http://twitter.com/AlexisReviews/stat...

Adam Fortuna replied on November 18, 2009 14:11 to the question "API requests from SponsoredTweets??" in IZEA:
Ahh I see what you mean. Yeah we do use your account (via oauth) for a few other things, but it should be no more than a few times a month (or more depending on when you login). Just to help root out the cause, here's where we use your account:
1) When you login, we'll use your account information to grab a list of your friends/followers so that the follow/unfollow buttons on the site are up to date. This is also used for your "suggested referrals" section.
2) When we tweet out under your account (of course!)
3) And every 14 days we make sure we still have access to use your account. (you haven't disallowed SponsoredTweets from the Twitter admin). Accounts that we don't have access to are removed from the potential matches for advertisers.
Luckily this doesn't depend on any searches on the site, or any outside interactions that could generate calls so your account is safe! :)

Adam Fortuna replied on November 17, 2009 20:34 to the question "Why the change of my Twitter username is not reflected?" in IZEA:
Hey Ghosh, we have a fix going out for this in our next release (should be sometime this week). Sorry about the issue, but thanks for reporting it!
I updated yours for now though, so you'll be able to use the next bitly link to your profile. It's in your referral section of SponsoredTweets -- http://bit.ly/3KSTz1
Unfortunately all previous links you've put out will go to the old URL (the TNMGTweet) profile. This is the same behavior as twitter. They don't forward http://twitter.com/TNMGTweet to your new profile, so to keep things in sync we don't forward to the new profile either.
For anyone else with this issue, you'll need to comment and we'll fix it for you. Anyone who changes their twitter handle after our next release won't have to worry about this.

Adam Fortuna replied on November 17, 2009 20:26 to the question "Pending offers for over 72 hours" in IZEA:
Hey Shelly, just to clarify for anyone else interested out there -- 72 hours after you submit your tweet, if it's not manually approved/rejected/other by the advertiser, it'll be automatically approved at noon EST on the following day. It's just done at that time so that it'll go out in primetime rather than at what could otherwise be a random time of the day.
Unfortunately if 72 hours comes out at 1pm, it'll wait until the next day to go out, but that's how it's setup right now. We could definitely provide a bit better feedback on what's going on in cases like this to the Tweeter :)
Adam Fortuna replied on November 17, 2009 20:21 to the question "API requests from SponsoredTweets??" in IZEA:
Hey Chris, don't think this has to do with SponsoredTweets, but we can always investigate to be sure. We don't do much with friending/unfriending though, and what is done is very limited:
1) When you manually friend/unfriend an advertiser
2) When you have the "follow advertisers i work with" box checked, and an offer gets paid out.
3) When you have your notification setting set to DM rather than email, we'll follow @spontwts with your account so that you can receive DMs (this should only happen the first time we send you a message -- or if you've unfriended @spontwts we'll re-friend it if you still have DMs on).
All 3 are pretty limited actions, so I don't think it's related to SponsoredTweets in this case. Not sure we have any better ideas on what can be causing it, but think you can rule out SponsoredTweets. If there's anything else we can help with, just let us know.
Adam Fortuna replied on November 13, 2009 15:55 to the question "Not Getting DM's" in IZEA:
Sorry about that Ray! Looks like we had a glitch in our system yesterday that cause the queue of tweets we DM out to just stop going out. We fixed it this morning and it's slowing catching up (sending out whatever tweets it can now). We found the cause of this, so this shouldn't happen again. Thanks for the heads up!

Hey Dave! I added this to our internal bugtracker to get fixed in the next release (next week probably). Thanks for the heads up!
Right now the birthday feel free to just put in anything. It's not used anywhere yet, and not shown to the advertiser or used in filter in any way. Sorry about the trouble, but thanks for letting us know about it! I'll post back once it's fixed.

Adam Fortuna replied on November 02, 2009 15:57 to the problem "SPTWT Error" in IZEA:
Hey hey Henry! I'm not sure if this is an error actually. Let me know if this sounds like what happened.
You logged into sponsored tweets and took an opportunity (in your current tab). This sent it off to the advertiser for approval.
Eventually you got a DM from the system saying this was approved. If you login at this point it'll still be in pending -- but you should see an indicator of when your tweet will go out. As soon as it does goes out, it'll move to your completed list and you'll be a step closer to getting paid for that tweet.
