Adam Fortuna replied on November 02, 2009 15:57 to the problem "SPTWT Error" in IZEA:
Hey hey Henry! I'm not sure if this is an error actually. Let me know if this sounds like what happened.
You logged into sponsored tweets and took an opportunity (in your current tab). This sent it off to the advertiser for approval.
Eventually you got a DM from the system saying this was approved. If you login at this point it'll still be in pending -- but you should see an indicator of when your tweet will go out. As soon as it does goes out, it'll move to your completed list and you'll be a step closer to getting paid for that tweet.

Hey Fredric, please send an email with your twitter handle, the title of the offer and what you want the new tweet content to be to accountmgmt [at] izea [dot] com from the email address associated with that account on SponsoredTweets. Also please link back to this topic and we'll take care of it right away!
Adam Fortuna replied on October 21, 2009 15:30 to the question "Why is my status 'pending' after completing all the tweets & retweets the advertiser asked for?" in IZEA:
Hey Adam, Chris and Capri, things should be resolved now. Tweets are supposed to go out every 2 days until they're tweeted 3 times, or until they hit that $1.50 as Carri mentioned (and you'll know -- you're smart people :). But due to a change on Twitters end, we ended up tweeting some tweets more frequently than every 2 days. We've issued a fix for our side for this issue, so you shouldn't see more tweets going out more frequently than you'd expect.
For all of these tweets, you'll still be paid either when they are hit that $1.50 CPC, or 2 hours after the 3rd time it's tweeted. You should be able to see these tweets in your 'complete' list now, and it'll show the CPC.

Hey Luis, I see the tweet you're referring to ( http://twitter.com/LuisTorres/status/... ).
It looks like that offer that you took had ClickWatch enabled ( http://sponsoredtweets.com/help/click... ), so it tweeted out that first time, then tried to tweet it out 2 days later. It looks like 2 days later a 2nd tweet went out with the same content as the first ( http://twitter.com/LuisTorres/status/... ). We tried to check on that 2nd tweet to make sure it was still around a few hours after, but it wasn't there anymore. Do you know if that tweet was deleted?
I think I see the email you're referring to. It went something like this?
"@advertiser approved your tweet for $xxx.xx at http://sptwt.com/. It will be tweeted shortly!"
This is a short notice we send to you the first time your tweet is accepted by the advertiser. After you receive this, you'll probably see an update in your twitter timeline soon after. This is mostly a heads up so you're not too surprised when you suddenly see a tweet that you might not recognize at that moment.
Adam Fortuna replied on October 21, 2009 14:51 to the problem "Pending Sponsored Tweet has not been sent yet" in IZEA:
Hey Justin! Due to a recent change in Twitters API, some tweets weren't going out at the correct time. Usually when you see a tweet in "pending" that's all set to go out -- it'll go out within a few minutes (or at the time the advertiser specified). But due to the Twitter API changes last week, it wouldn't go out at all.
We worked out a fix for this last night, and check on it this morning and all tweets should have gone out now, or within the next hour.

Good to know Fredric! What browser and version of the browser are you using? Also was it the same browser across computers? We'll try to reproduce it and get a fix out.
If you're not able to get it to work in another browser, and you need something changed right away, let us know and we'll go ahead and change it in the meantime.

Adam Fortuna replied on October 15, 2009 12:56 to the question "what does Adjusting for earned bucket being off mean ?" in IZEA:
Hey Jeanine, sorry about that -- I should have used a much more clear message. We noticed an issue with the financial system where sometimes funds in one account would be moved prematurely into another account. This caused kind of a cascading issue where more accounts would get thrown off. This was complete on our side, and shouldn't affect anyone aside from (at most) a few of these adjustment messages on their account.
This should be all fixed, so your total earnings right now are exactly what you earned. If you, of anyone else wants to check this, the total amount you earned is easily visible for each opp you've taken in the "completed opps" section + the total you've earned in commissions (available on the "join our referral program" page).
Deduct any amount that you've already cashed out to your Paypal account, and you should have that much left in your account. If you or anyone else notices this being off, let us know and we'll look into it right away.

Hey Jonathan,
I got your information from Carri and moved you over to tweeters. You should be able to login as a tweeter now.
Just a heads up for anyone else interested in this -- we're currently working on a better way of handling this that will be available to all users soon. If you're wanting to change your account from an advertiser to a tweeter, please watch for new updates on the blog ( http://sponsoredtweets.com/help/updates/ ) and we'll be sure to announce when this feature is available. Thanks for your patience while we implementing this the right way!
Adam Fortuna replied on October 09, 2009 19:04 to the question "Cpc Stats on SponsoredTweets Reset to 0! Please, HELP..." in IZEA:
OK, bitly stats are still off, but we put out a temporary fix for this. Bitly gives out two "click counts" for a bitly link. One is the total clicks on your specific bitly link, and another is the total clicks on all links that go to the location of your bitly link. So if you created a custom link to google.com, there'd be tons and tons of total clicks, and then whatever ones actually used your link to get there. Unfortunately that "total clicks" one that should be really high was coming back as total clicks - clicks from this link. That caused our stats to be off.
Since all links sponsoredtweets sends out are custom built for 1-time use, now we're just grabbing the 2 click counts bitly gives back to us, and using whichever one is greater. Over the next few hours the click data from all offers should start being updated to this value.
Adam Fortuna replied on October 08, 2009 13:18 to the question "Cpc Stats on SponsoredTweets Reset to 0! Please, HELP..." in IZEA:
Syler is right about this. We contacted Bitly about these stats being off, and they said an upgrade they did last week cause all sorts of issues with clicks being off. They mentioned they were working on getting a fix for this issue, and we're looking into ways of adjusting for this in the meantime. I'll update here if we find out more about this.

Ahh ok, you should be able to login to your old account with @stripwalkers and create a new tweeter account on SponsoredTweets with @stripwalker.
This is actually the first time we've tried this (oh us developers know what the advertiser want to hear ;p) so please give us a heads up if anything is wrong and we'll look into it.
