Beta Testers Needed for Upcoming ReleaseOur next version of Yoono is right around the corner! This means we are selecting a small group of people to beta test this version prior to public release.
If you're interested in joining our program, we only ask that you reply below with your Twitter or Facebook address or your Email address. We want to give you a few options if you're picky about giving out your email address in public.
Thanks for your support of Yoono! We look forward to an exciting release.

Adam Jackson replied on November 10, 2009 19:26 to the idea "Yoono on a website" in Yoono:
Hello Adam. You raise a great point so I'll be changing this to an "idea" that we can look into adding at a later time.
At this time, we only have Yoono for Firefox and Yoono Desktop. The idea of making something that integrates into a website isn't something we're working on right now.
Still, it's something that could work so I'm going to keep this open. thanks for your interest!
A comment on the question "Yoono desktop window drawing misbehaves with multiple monitors" in Yoono:
Yep. Thanks for understanding. We felt that creating a cross-platform desktop app would be better. Please report back on the solution and I hope to have a better response soon. Take care! – Adam Jackson, on November 10, 2009 02:00
Adam Jackson replied on November 10, 2009 01:20 to the question "Yoono desktop window drawing misbehaves with multiple monitors" in Yoono:
Hi Tom. First, I must mention that Yoono Desktop is still in beta. It's not finished yet. Second, of all, yes I've had this issue as well on our internal builds.
It's actually an issue with most XULRunner and Adobe Air apps (Yoono Desktop is built on Mozilla XUL). The standard window behaviors that native Mac apps have is to never do that.
I do have a better solution though. Unplugging the 2nd monitor and moving the addon to a lower part of the screen and plugging it back in will resolve the issue.
I know this is still an imperfect workaround but it does work and I promise we'll be addressing these issues the best we can when Yoono Desktop reaches 1.0
Adam Jackson replied on November 10, 2009 01:10 to the problem "Freezing up Firefox" in Yoono:
Thanks C.J. for adding this topic. So, we covered some of the basics already of course. Just a couple of follow up questions.
1. Was there any kind of similarities on what sites you were on when the freezing occurred?
2. Did it happen when Yoono was showing the pop-up notifications?
3. What networks do you have added to Yoono?
4. Any other details you can give that would help us pinpoint?
Thanks!

Totally understood. – Adam Jackson, on November 10, 2009 01:01
A comment on the question "Yoono not connecting to social networking sites." in Yoono:
I know this will seem like a dumb question but are you able to go to Twitter.com and Facebook.com from within Yoono?
Also, please go to the Mozilla Firefox Add-Ons Windows and "check for updates" to make sure you're running the latest version of Yoono.
You may have to reinstall it to resolve these issues but let's work through the first two lines to see if we can get it fixed w/o having to do that. – Adam Jackson, on November 10, 2009 01:00
Adam Jackson replied on November 10, 2009 00:58 to the question "Can I change my user name and how?" in Yoono:
Hello A.C. Thanks for submitting this topic. So there is no way to change your username at this time.
My suggestion would be to login to the Yoono sidebar w/ your Yoono account and then uninstall Yoono. When you do so, it asks if you want to delete your account and you click "yes"
Upon reinstalling Yoono, you can setup a new one. I know this is a long process but is the best option at this time.

Adam Jackson replied on November 10, 2009 00:21 to the question "Firefox and Facebook Yoono" in Yoono:
Hey Jeff. Thank you for submitting this question. Actually, Yoono does remember these settings and shouldn't be forgetting them. Have you checked to ensure you're running the latest version of Yoono and Firefox?
Has Yoono always forgotten your credentials or is this new? Also, does it remember the info for Twitter and other networks?
Thanks in advance.
A comment on the idea "Would Yoono consider adding a YouTube feed?" in Yoono:
Thanks Sophie. Ye this is a great point and something we could work on in the future. – Adam Jackson, on November 10, 2009 00:10
Adam Jackson made a comment on "Sidebar on the wrong side", but it was removed. see the change log
A comment on the question "Sidebar on the wrong side" in Yoono:
Hello. At this time, Yoono can still only be accessed on the left hand side. We have no plans to move it to the right side at this time. However, you can download Yoono Desktop at Yoono.com and move the desktop application anywhere on your screen (right or left) so it's certainly more flexible.
We'll be sure to update this post if the sidebar is ever available on the right side. – Adam Jackson, on November 10, 2009 00:06
A comment on the question "do I have a shortcut to open the yoono panel?" in Yoono:
Sorry but there is no keyboard shortcut for that. Maybe in the future. Thank you for asking though :) – Adam Jackson, on November 06, 2009 19:55
A comment on the question "do I have a shortcut to open the yoono panel?" in Yoono:
I see. Thank you for clarifying.
At this time, Yoono can't be undocked. It is only designed to run on the left side of the Firefox browser.
If you want to run Yoono by itself, please go to Yoono.com and download Yoono Desktop. It can be placed anywhere on your computer "undocked" – Adam Jackson, on November 06, 2009 19:30
Adam Jackson replied on November 06, 2009 18:48 to the question "do I have a shortcut to open the yoono panel?" in Yoono:
Hello Marton. Actually, there is a handy shortcut depending on if you're on Windows or Macintosh.
You can see what shortcut by going to the View menu in Firefox, clicking on "Sidebars" and the key command is there.
We also have a blog post up that shows the various Yoono views and how to access them. You might find this valuable!

Adam Jackson replied on November 06, 2009 18:46 to the problem "Problem with facebook widget" in Yoono:
Hi Gabacho. Thanks for submitting this topic. It appears that Yoono is actually doing something that Facebook isn't which I'll take as a good thing.
So on Yoono, you see the profile photo of someone that's leaving a comment or update but when you go to Facebook, their image isn't showing up?
Sounds like a Facebook issue to me but maybe you could explain a bit more so I could better understand the issue.
THANKS!
A comment on the question "Why does Yoono keep disconnecting from my social services?" in Yoono:
These are the steps that help us troubleshoot those issues.
