A comment on the question "Twitter is not logging in, in the Yoono Add on firefox version." in Yoono:
Hi Ricardo. There is a solution for this and we're working on it. Each time this issue, the factors involved are extremely complicated ranging from Twitter downtime, network issues, firewall issues, latency problems and finally, Yoono being the final culprit.
I promise to provide more info when we determine the exact cause. In the meantime, it would be helpful if you could follow this thread to send in a report that helps us pinpoint the connection issues.

Adam Jackson replied on November 16, 2009 19:56 to the question "Discovery seems like an unfinished idea" in Yoono:
Hi Jaime. Are you saying that by using the Discovery Widget Options Panel and deselecting all searches except for Videos & shopping, when you restart the browser, it's not remembering that choice and it goes back to the default?
I was unable to recreate this and if that's the problem you're having, we should work on fixing it because that's not how it's designed.
If I misunderstood, please let me know.
Regarding limiting the search, yes this can certainly be improved.
The Discovery widget is certainly not in beta but I think we can safely say that no software is ever "finished" and it needs constant improvement and tweaking.
Adam Jackson replied on November 16, 2009 19:41 to the idea "more results in discovery" in Yoono:
Hello. Thanks for submitting this idea. I do have a question though for clarification. Do you mean more results like more videos, images or site recommendations or do you mean more filters like more shopping sites or more video providers?
Thanks for the idea and I hope we can get more info on your thoughts.

YEP! That's our discovery tool. Glad you found it. It's one of those gems about Yoono that makes it indispensable. – Adam Jackson, on November 13, 2009 23:32
Adam Jackson replied on November 13, 2009 23:25 to the question "Yonoo plugin for IE8 on VISTA and WINDOWS7 is crashing!" in Yoono:
Hello. Correct, 64-bit support is not there yet. However, that error your receiving shouldn't be happening on 32-bit window on IE8.
Yoono for Internet Explorer is still in beta so we will try to help resolve the issue, but it hasn't bee tested enough to the point where we would remove the beta tag.
It may be worth it to try Yoono Desktop for Windows. as it is still only 32 bit but is a bit more solid than our version for Internet Explorer.

Adam Jackson replied on November 13, 2009 20:29 to the idea "update skype status" in Yoono:
Great! Yeah, it's ok to request this separately. As many people know, skype integration and a skype status update are basically the same complexity as they both need support from Skype to work.
It's a pretty closed system for us to do integrations with Skype at this time. However, I'll keep this as an idea and it might happen in the future! Thanks, as always for your idea submissions.
Adam Jackson set one of Adam Jackson's replies as an official response to "Deleting shares" in Yoono
Adam Jackson replied on November 13, 2009 20:23 to the question "Deleting shares" in Yoono:
Hi Charles. We've discussed this kind of feature but it hasn't yet been built out. At this time, we don't offer a way to delete shares. You can delete the tweet & facebook update from those sites if you shared something by accident but that particular share isn't manageable at this time.
If you'd like to email me at ajackson@yoono.com, I can do my best to have the share removed but I can't say if it's possible.

Thanks Speldosa for sharing this! So, we appreciate you adding your thoughts on how things can be improved.
1. Correct, the desktop app can't be minimized yet but it's something that could be added in the future. Hiding it on Mac OS is the only way to get rid of it.
2. Growl Support if something we've heard before but since this application is cross-platform (windows & Mac) adding a Mac-only notification system may call for us to split up the development for both platforms.
I don't know this for sure but perhaps we can improve notifications in the future without using Growl.
Stay tuned and I'll update this topic as we find out more regarding these ideas.

A comment on the question "Yoono not connecting to social networking sites." in Yoono:
Totally. It was just important that we narrow down that you can at least reach those sites from your computer that they were "available"
Is it a possibility for you to follow the steps here for the sidebar firefox version so we can find out exactly why you're not able to connect?
