Hi,
Sparkle IM connects directly to Second Life, without the help of any Genkii servers. So if you are seeing that error it means that there was a problem connecting to Second Life servers, or the sim itself. Could you try a different sim, and let me know if that works? If not, then try restarting the iPhone and trying again.

HI, Sparkle IM is not dependent on our servers. It relies completely on the Second Life (or OpenSim) servers to connect. Could you try deleting the app, and reinstalling it? Let me know if that does the trick.

I've tested this with an anti-idle script, and it does in fact work. I've stayed logged in for about 12 hours or more without a drop.

Hi, we are working hard to implement these features. It's not as straight forward as a web app, since we have to implement the SL protocol in C instead of the C# based web app AjaxLife. Hi, as far as we know, this is quite uncommon. Do all of your other apps work fine? If so, could you try deleting Sparkle IM from your phone, and re-installing it? Let me know if that works for you.

Hi, the default language is English. If your iPhone is set to Japan/Japanese it will display Japanese. German is also a supported language.

From the home screen on the device you can click on Settings->General->International:

Make sure to set the Language to French, and the Region Format to French as well.

We are also looking into providing a French translation for a future update. However, this should display English for you for the time being.
