Skype "call phones" feature needs to support pause (p) and wait (w) signsI'm using a lot skype for making business calls to landlines, and I think a great addition would be to add pause (p) and wait (w) sign to any telephone number in order to be able to reach an office extension automatically.
for example, let's say I want to call office number +1 713 222 9999 and reach extension number 123. It would be great to be able to dial it directly on skype this way:
+1 713 222 9999 w 123
That would allow skype users to save complete contact phones numbers, INCLUDING extension number.
Most of the cellphones (blackberry, iphones, nokia,..) already support this.
ADNKine replied on October 26, 2009 16:44 to the problem "Calls Dropped Every 15 Minutes, Guaranteed (Well, almost, if it is not worse)" in Skype:
I had the same problem with Skype 4.1 - everything is fine, and for some reason, after 10 minutes, the call drops..
It does not happen during one-on-one calls or skype-out calls but it does happen systematically during skype conference calls involving 3 to 4 persons.
I'm calling from a pc in Mexico to another pc in the US, and I'm using 1Mps cable connection.

Update Notifier detects 8 updates available on my PC (Google Desktop, K-Lite Codec Pack, MediaMonkey, MS Silverlight, OpenOffice, Orbit Downloader, Secunia PSI, Skype) and Wakoopa : 0
Still some work to be done! but I do like the interface and I'm looking forward to see it fully developped. Please also add a "check now" or "refresh" button on the "update" webpage.

Hmm... I'm not that confident this would work, as reseting the device to factory default would probably reinstall this useless DEMO MODE icon.. – ADNKine, on August 04, 2009 18:13

Auto-recharge automated email sent in spanish is totally inacurrate!!Hi,
Please DO check QUALITY of automated auto-recharge e-mail message sent in spanish!!
I just received that alarming message in my inbox:
== Detalles de tu compra: ==

Detalles de la cuenta y recibo de la compra

=========================
> The amount of the auto-recharge is stated as EUR 2.875,00 when I registered for an auto-recharge amount of EUR 28.75 (EUR 25 + tax of EUR 3.75)
> The stated date is also wrong, as it should be Aug 4, 2009, and not Apr 8, 2009
It seems that all this is related to a poor US to Spanish translation of both date and currency formats, but please do correct this urgently, as I think it does not reflect the standards of quality of your services.
PS: Do not take into account the "XXXXXX" as I typed them for masking my ID details.
My order number is nervertheless correct: "279909749", so you can track it in your system.
I also submitted a support request on Aug 4th after receiving this email.

Please put back the trackball!!RIM Storm is not a bad phone, but user experience is way below of what you get with any other RIM devices, such as RIM Curve or Bold or even Pearl.
According to me, this decreased user experience is due to the lack of trackball..
Storm touch-screen is ok for typing but it lacks of precision when you want to edit or select words, copy/paste, or scroll down menus or lists... etc
Having a trackball will greatly enhance Storm user experience, and it seems relatively easy to do.. just insert it between the "Menu" and "Back" hard keys and voila!
Besides , thanks to the accelerometer, the key layout and trackball position would serve both left-handed people and right-handed people when the device is held in a "landscape" position..
Think about it for next generation, as I think many RIM fans will appreciate!!-

download online AMEX statement as Quicken or MS Money filesManaging personal finances with MS Money or Quicken is fast and easy to do as most of the banks offer the possibility to download statements as MS Money or Quicken format files.
Once downloaded those files are automatically recognized by MS Money or Quicken, and all corresponding account balance or transactions created in MS Money or Quicken are updated on the fly.
The only card for which I have to enter manually all my transactions one by one is my AMEX card. It's a long and tedious process and I hate that...
If AMEX statements are already available to download as .pdf files, why not also offering the possibility to download them as MS Money or Quicken file?

skype for blackberry? There's a skype version for iphone which allows to make free skype-to-skype calls and cheap skype-out calls when connecting to a wi-fi network.
Why not having such a version for Blackberry? Is there a release date yet?
PS: I'm aware of 3rd-company software using skype technology for blackberry such as iSkoot for instance, but this not what I'm looking for, as this solution is actually buggy and expensive

Please add a multi-language automatic translation tool !My blog is in french and I'd like to add a real gadget that enable to translate my site within one button-click in another language, such as english or spanish.
There are tons of gadgets that supposedly do this but they are all bogus and do not offer real automatic translation
Picassa web album features a automatic tranlstation tool that "google-translate" any comments made in another language into english. So why blogger can't do this??
A comment on the problem "Blogger deleted my blog without my permission, or even NOTIFICATION! This blog holds two years' of writing, and I want it restored I M M E D I A T E L Y!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" in Blogger:
I'm also using blogger, without any adds at all as I used it as a tool to keep in touch with my friends and family- do you mean I've to add this ads gadget thing for keeping my blog online?? if that's so, that sucks big time!! – ADNKine, on June 30, 2009 19:57
A comment on the idea "Wakoopa as a software update notifier" in Wakoopa:
sumo is actually kind of crappy and useless - don't give you the link for downloading the update, so what's the point of detecting your software is outdated, if you don't tell the user how to update? Besides an adware is included in Sumo install package (ESET: "Adware.Agent.NMA") – ADNKine, on June 26, 2009 19:16

merge two skype accounts (or more) in the same skype instanceHi - I'm using a skype username for work, and one for my family.
I have used a 3rd party software called "skype launcher" for launching 2 skype instances and it work great, but I would prefer to be able to see - and call - all my contacts from one skype instance. That could be done by enabling the possibility to merge or link skype accounts.
